01 What makes it unique
The 25FB is the smallest current Globetrotter and the design-forward counterpart to the Flying Cloud 25FB — the same dual-axle body, but built wider at 8 ft 5.5 in and taller at 9 ft 9 in, which noticeably opens up the cabin. A queen (or twin beds) sits forward under panoramic windows, a convertible dinette rides over the axles, and a three-piece bathroom splits across the aisle mid-ship. It sleeps six.
The interior is the reason it exists. The Globetrotter is the only Airstream trailer with award-winning HITCH seating upholstery, paired with custom curved overhead cabinets in a bright, fingerprint-resistant white with soft-close hydraulic hinges. The galley runs a three-burner range with a glass cover, an oven, a slide-out microwave, a deep stainless Moen sink, and a European Franke faucet. It also carries more powered hardware than the Flying Cloud — a powered awning, four powered stabilizer jacks, and a standard rearview monitoring camera.
At 6,074 pounds dry against a 7,300-pound GVWR with an 882-pound tongue, it tows much like the Flying Cloud 25FB but rides roughly 400 pounds heavier for the added content. At an MSRP of $142,150 it lists about $18,000 above the Flying Cloud 25FB — the premium buys design, powered features, and finish on identical running gear.

03 Globetrotter floorplan family
The current Globetrotter line — three dual-axle floorplans, each offered in queen or twin bedroom configurations. The 25FB on this page is highlighted; each other plan links to its own profile.
| Floorplan | Nominal | Bedroom | Sleeps | Notable |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25FB | 26 ft | Front | 6 | Entry; L-lounge; front queen/twin |
| 27FB | 28 ft | Front | 6 | Most popular; biggest galley/storage |
| 30RB | 31 ft | Rear | 6 | Lounge seats 10; most capacity |
Globetrotter does not offer the rear-bath 23FB found in Flying Cloud and International, nor a family bunk plan or the optional rear hatch — it is the design-led couples' line. An earlier 23FB Globetrotter was discontinued and is documented separately.
04 What owners & reviewers report
Design-forward, wider cabin
An 8'5.5" body and 9'9" height open the interior beyond the Flying Cloud; HITCH upholstery and curved white cabinetry define the look.
More powered than Flying Cloud
Powered awning, four powered stabilizers, and a standard rearview camera come where Flying Cloud is manual.
Premium galley
Three-burner range with glass cover, oven, slide-out microwave, Moen sink, and a European Franke faucet.
Pay for the design
At $142,150 it's roughly $18k over the Flying Cloud 25FB on the same chassis — the premium is content, not capability.
05 How it compares
The same dual-axle body in neutral decor with manual awning and jacks — lighter, and roughly $18k less.
Two feet longer with a larger galley, pantry, and hallway wardrobe — about 180 lb more dry weight.
The other design-led Airstream at a similar price — slightly lighter, and it offers the optional rear hatch.
