Brand DirectoryEvery maker, mapped

The towable-RV manufacturers that account for the overwhelming majority of trailers on North American roads. Profiled makers link to a brand index mapping their lines; the rest are catalogued and built out in demand order. Brand groups matter — most nameplates belong to one of a handful of parent companies.

01 How the industry is structured

Three corporate groups build most of the towable RVs sold in North America. Thor Industries and Forest River (a Berkshire Hathaway company) together account for roughly half the conventional travel-trailer market; Grand Design, owned by Winnebago, leads the premium-mainstream segment on satisfaction and volume.

That structure is why a buyer cross-shopping "different brands" is often comparing nameplates from the same parent. A handful of independents sit outside it — most notably Brinkley RV, a privately held maker founded by industry veterans whose Model Z has become one of the fastest-rising luxury fifth wheels in the market and whose Model G brings the same build to the luxury fifth-wheel toy-hauler segment. This directory groups makers by parent and links each profiled manufacturer to a brand index that maps its individual lines down to floorplans and verified specs.
