01 What Lance Travel Trailer is
These are Lance's travel trailers as its 2026 travel-trailer brochure prints them. The brochure carries a specification block for 10 floorplans; 8 are profiled here, from 4,225 lb dry (1685, 21' 5" overall) to 6,400 lb dry (2465, 29' 10" overall), with hitch weights of 475 to 905 lb. Dry weight plus cargo capacity (total) equals the printed GVWR exactly on 10 of 10.
Across the whole Lance Travel Trailer roster the published dry weights run from 4,225 lbs to 6,400 lbs, cargo capacities from 2,075 lbs to 3,050 lbs, and tongue weights from 475 lbs to 905 lbs. Exterior lengths run 21 to 30 feet. Those are the figures Lance prints in its 2026 travel-trailer brochure, one specification block per floorplan.
Lance publishes a GVWR for 10 of the 10 floorplans, and on 10 of those the arithmetic ties out exactly: dry weight plus cargo capacity equals the published rating to the pound. That check is run on every plan before it is profiled here, and a plan that fails it is catalogued with the disagreement printed rather than quietly corrected.
02 Floorplans profiled in depth
8 of the 10 Lance Travel Trailer floorplans are profiled in full below, each on its own page with the complete factory weight, dimension and tank block. The profiled set is spread across the weight range rather than taken from one end of it, so the lightest and heaviest plans in the line are both represented. Every plan profiled here publishes a full field set and, where Lance publishes a GVWR, passes the dry-plus-cargo arithmetic check.
| Floorplan | Dry wt | Length | Cargo | Tongue wt | GVWR |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1685 | 4,225 | 21' 5" | 2,075 | 550 | 6,300 |
| 2075 | 4,425 | 25' 1" | 2,375 | 505 | 6,800 |
| 1995 | 4,465 | 24' 1" | 2,535 | 475 | 7,000 |
| 1985 | 4,480 | 23' 8" | 2,520 | 635 | 7,000 |
| 2185 | 4,860 | 26' 1" | 3,040 | 890 | 7,900 |
| 2255 | 5,425 | 27' 10" | 2,575 | 590 | 8,000 |
| 2565 | 5,750 | 30' 5" | 3,050 | 625 | 8,800 |
| 2465 | 6,400 | 29' 10" | 2,500 | 905 | 8,900 |
Every figure in this table is a Lance factory publication for 2026, read from Lance's 2026 travel-trailer brochure, one specification block per floorplan. Sleeping capacity is on each plan page as printed; the brochure's specification blocks print no tire size, axle count or MSRP.
03 Also in the 2026 line
The remaining 2 Lance Travel Trailer floorplans are catalogued here from the factory's published figures. A plan is catalogued rather than profiled when the factory has not yet published its full field set, when its own published figures disagree with each other, or simply because the profiled set is capped. Nothing in this table is estimated.
| Floorplan | Dry wt | GVWR | Cargo | Tongue wt | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2285 | 5,285 | 8,000 | 2,715 | 760 | Travel Trailers |
| 2445 | 6,115 | 8,700 | 2,585 | 580 | Travel Trailers |
Catalogued plans carry the factory figures Lance publishes and nothing else. A row reading “Not published” means the factory does not publish that field for that plan - it is never a placeholder for a figure this site could not be bothered to find.
04 How to choose
Sort this line by the constraint you actually have. If the tow vehicle is fixed, start at the weight column: the lightest plan in the roster is the 1685 at 4,225 lbs dry and the heaviest is the 2465 at 6,400 lbs, and that spread is wide enough that the two ends are not the same buying decision. If the tow vehicle is not fixed, sort by cargo capacity instead - the 2565 carries the most at 3,050 lbs, and payload is the number that runs out first on a long trip.
Do not sort by floorplan number. This site does not decode floorplan codes into length or layout claims. Two plans with adjacent numbers in this roster can differ by hundreds of pounds of dry weight and by more than that in tongue weight, which is the figure that determines what the tow vehicle has to be.
Plan pages carry the brochure's specification block only; descriptive brochure copy is not turned into specification claims. That is the difference between a catalogue and a brochure.
05 What to weigh before buying
What this line is
Every figure on this line comes from Lance's 2026 travel-trailer brochure, read 4 Nov 2026. 2285 and 2445 print the gray tank as a split figure rather than one capacity, so they are catalogued with their weights rather than profiled. The lancecamper.com travel-trailer roster lists 1475 and 1575, which have no specification block in the 2026 brochure; the brochure carries 2185, 2255, 2285 and 2445, which the web roster does not list.
What the brochure's specification blocks do not print
Lance's 2026 brochure specification blocks print no tire size, axle count, awning length or MSRP, so they are absent here rather than estimated. Sleeping capacity is shown as the brochure prints it, a minimum / optional-maximum pair. A tire size is a safety-relevant number that differs between two codes a digit apart, and this site does not guess one.
Match the tow vehicle honestly
The plans here run from 4,225 lbs to 6,400 lbs dry with tongue weights of 475 lbs to 905 lbs. Dry weight is not towing weight - water, batteries, propane, gear and dealer-installed accessories all sit on top of it, and tongue weight rises with them. Lance's brochure states that refinements and changes may be made during the model year and that the product received may not match its marketing materials exactly. Read your own door sticker rather than a brochure maximum, and weigh the trailer loaded the way you actually travel.

Coverage is not complete: this list is a starting point, not a clearance (how it is built), so check a specific VIN at NHTSA before you buy and again before you tow.
Lance also builds truck campers, and NHTSA files some of them under the same Lance names. A campaign whose own text lists only truck-camper models (one so far, 20V620000) is not counted here.

How this count is drawn. A report is counted here only when NHTSA’s own model field names this line. What the owner typed in the description is never used to attribute a report: our line names are ordinary English words, and an owner writing “imagine my surprise when the axle went” or naming the state of Montana is not reporting a Grand Design Imagine or a Keystone Montana. Lance also builds truck campers and NHTSA files some under the same Lance names, so a report whose owner names only a Lance truck-camper model (one so far) is held out of it.
Read these as reports, not as findings. Complaints are submitted by owners and NHTSA does not verify them; no complaint here has been confirmed as a defect, and none of them is a recall. The sample is also self-selected — only owners motivated to file appear in it — so a high count tracks how many units a line sold at least as much as how well it was built. Use the pattern, not the total: a component that keeps recurring is worth inspecting on any used unit. File or search complaints at NHTSA.
