This page describes what actually happens when you load a page on this site, rather than what a template says usually happens. The three factual claims underneath it — how many third-party scripts load, how many forms exist, and which analytics property runs — are counted from the published pages every time this page is built, and the build stops if any of them changes.
The short version
There is nothing to sign up for, nothing to fill in and nothing for sale. The site carries no advertising, sets no advertising cookies, runs no remarketing pixel, and sells or shares nothing with anybody. One analytics tag measures how many people arrive and which pages they read.
01 What loads when you open a page
Counted across all 640 pages, exactly one third-party script is loaded, and it is the same one everywhere:
| Google Analytics 4 G-ZE8LSVDKC8 | Aggregate traffic measurement — page views, referrer, approximate region, device type. Loaded from googletagmanager.com on every page. |
| Netlify | Hosting. Serving a page necessarily involves the host receiving the request, so standard web-server records exist there as they do for every site on the internet. |
There is no ad network, no tag manager container, no heat-mapping or session-replay script, no social-media pixel, no chat widget, no comment system, and no A/B testing tool. Nothing on this site is embedded from a video or social platform.
02 Forms and accounts
There are no forms on this site at all — the count is asserted at build time and a form appearing anywhere in the tree fails the build. There is no account system, no login, no newsletter and no comment box. There is consequently no name, address, phone number or payment detail for this site to hold, because there is no mechanism by which you could give it one.
03 Cookies
The analytics tag sets first-party cookies in your browser — named _ga and _ga_ followed by a property identifier. They hold a randomly generated identifier that lets Google Analytics tell one browser from another and group several page views into one visit. They do not carry your name, your email address or anything you have typed, because you have not typed anything.
Stated plainly: there is no consent banner
This site does not currently present a cookie consent dialogue, which means the analytics cookies above are set when the page loads rather than after you agree to them. That is a description of the current state, not a claim that it is the right one. You can block or delete them at any time in your browser settings, and Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site at once: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
04 If you send an email
The contact address is an ordinary mailbox. If you write, your message and the address you wrote from sit in it, and are used to reply to you and to make the correction you reported. They are not added to a mailing list, not passed to anyone, and not used to build a profile of you. If you would rather a correction were published without your name attached, say so and it will be.
05 What this site does not do
- No selling or sharing of personal data. There is no data-broker relationship, no affiliate tracking and no lead generation on this site. There is nothing to sell, and no arrangement under which selling it would produce anything.
- No profiling or targeting. Nothing here changes based on who you are, and there is no mechanism to serve you a different page from the one anybody else gets.
- No content directed at children. This is a towing-specification reference. It is not aimed at anyone under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from them.
06 Changes to this page
This page is generated from the site itself, so a change to what loads is a change to this page. Last reviewed 28 July 2026. If the set of third-party scripts, the number of forms or the analytics property ever changes, the build fails until this page is updated to match — which is the only version of a privacy statement that stays true.
