01 What makes it unique
The 33RLP is Sabre’s signature outdoor-living plan, and the one that opens onto the campsite. The “RLP” marks a rear-living patio layout built around the Sundeck — an industry-first retractable patio deck that folds out from the rear wall, extending the living space outdoors. Inside, an L-shaped sectional, an electric fireplace, a residential oven, an air-fryer microwave, a free-standing dinette option, a 12-volt refrigerator and a private front bedroom round it out, under three slide-outs, sleeping four. It rides the full Sabre build: the Lippert M-19 welded I-beam chassis, vacuum-bond laminated sidewalls, a high-gloss gelcoat front cap and an electric auto-level system.
Forest River publishes an 11,948-pound UVW and a 2,747-pound CCC, which derive a 14,695-pound GVWR (the manufacturer’s own definition is that CCC equals GVWR minus UVW), against a 2,375-pound dry pin. Twin 15,000-BTU ducted air conditioners (prepped for a third), a tankless water heater, a 12-volt refrigerator, real wood lumbercore cabinetry, solid-surface countertops and smart projectors in the primary bedroom are standard, under dual 12-foot and 16-foot awnings.
US street pricing has run around the high $60,000s (units have advertised near $67,800). It is the outdoor-living, couple’s Sabre. For a couple who wants the Sundeck retractable patio deck, a rear living room with an L-shaped sectional and a fireplace, and a residential oven in an affordable-luxury full-size fifth wheel — towed behind a properly rated three-quarter-ton or larger truck — the 33RLP is the line’s signature outdoor coach.

03 The Sabre floorplan family
Sabre is Forest River's affordable-luxury full-size fifth wheel — a half-step above the brand's own up-trim sibling Sandpiper toward the Cedar Creek luxury line, and a cross-shop against Grand Design's Reflection and Keystone's Cougar from just above. Six of the most distinct 2026 retail floorplans are profiled here in full. The 33RLP on this page is highlighted; each other plan links to its own page.

Sabre is Forest River's affordable-luxury full-size fifth wheel — a half-step above the brand's own up-trim sibling Sandpiper toward the Cedar Creek luxury line, and a cross-shop against Grand Design's Reflection and Keystone's Cougar from just above. Six of the most distinct 2026 retail floorplans are profiled here in full; the remaining catalogued retail plans (the 36EST rear kitchen and the 37FLH) and two Dealer Stock Only plans (the 36ML and the two-bath 38DBL) are listed on the hub but not profiled. Every plan is built on the Lippert M-19 welded I-beam tandem-axle chassis with a heated forced-air underbelly, vacuum-bond laminated sidewalls and a high-gloss gelcoat front cap, an electric auto-level system, a 50-amp marine power cord, a tankless water heater, twin 15,000-BTU ducted air conditioners (prepped for a third), real wood lumbercore cabinetry, solid-surface countertops and smart projectors in the primary bedrooms as standard. Hitch weight, UVW and CCC are published per plan on the Forest River factory pages; GVWR is derived as UVW plus CCC per the manufacturer's own definition. The numeric per-axle GAWR is not separately published for Sabre. UVW is a factory estimated average; real loaded pin weights run higher — always weigh the loaded coach and confirm against your truck's payload and rear-axle ratings.
04 What owners & reviewers report
Industry-first Sundeck retractable patio deck
A patio deck that folds out from the rear wall to extend the living space outdoors — the line’s signature feature and a rarity in the segment.
Rear living + L-shaped sectional + fireplace
A rear living room with an L-shaped sectional, an electric fireplace and a free-standing dinette option — a couple’s relaxer that opens onto the campsite.
Residential oven + air-fryer microwave
A full residential oven and an air-fryer microwave rather than the usual RV range — a cook’s galley in a couple’s coach.
A couple’s plan, not a bunk plan
With a front bedroom and a rear living room it sleeps four — a couple’s coach rather than a family bunkhouse.
05 How it compares
The lighter, shorter rear-living plan — a chef’s island kitchen instead of the Sundeck patio deck.
Grand Design’s rear-living Reflection — the mainstream-luxury-FW couple’s cross-shop a tier across.
Forest River’s luxury rear-living fifth wheel — a tier above, heavier and far pricier.
