01 What makes it unique
The 32MAZE is the base Aurora rethought around flexibility: a full rear kitchen with an island, three slide-outs opening the middle of the coach into a space the factory pitches as adaptable — dining, lounging, working or hosting — and a walk-around queen up front. Dual 10-foot and 13-foot awnings run most of the camp side, and the 60-gallon grey tank backs a kitchen that actually gets used.
It rides the standard wide-body build — Norco electromagnetic powder-coated chassis, metal siding under the seamless lifetime-warranty membrane roof, enclosed sealed underbelly, solid-surface counters, 15,000-BTU GE ducted heat pump, 35,000-BTU furnace, GE tankless water heater, 10.7-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator — and carries the highest GVWR of any Aurora travel trailer: the factory prints 10,686 pounds, and the published 8,686 UVW plus 2,000 CCC equals it exactly.
The trade for all that structure is the heaviest tongue in the family — 1,218 pounds dry — which puts the 32MAZE in three-quarter-ton territory once loaded. Couples who want the triple-slide space without the reconfigurable room should read the rear-living 32RLTS; families needing berths, the 34BHTS.

Every base Aurora is a tandem-axle 96-inch wide-body on the Norco electromagnetic powder-coated chassis. This is a published-GVWR-clean line: on every plan the factory detail page prints a GVWR, and the published UVW plus CCC sums to it exactly, with no derivation. Forest River publishes no per-plan axle ratings and no MSRP for the line; sleeps counts are RVUSA catalog fields, and RVUSA's weight records lag the current factory figures on several plans — a logged conflict, resolved to the factory detail pages throughout. Always confirm against the unit's weight sticker before towing.
04 What owners & reviewers report
The reconfigurable middle
Three slides open a mid-coach room the factory frames as adaptable space — dining, lounge, office or spare sleeping — rather than a fixed furniture set.
Heaviest tongue in the family
1,218 pounds dry on the ball — plan the tow vehicle around the placard, not the brochure.
RVUSA has no weights for this plan
The RVUSA catalog record carries no dry/GVWR figures for the 32MAZE; the factory detail page is the sole weight source and prints the full set.
No published MSRP
Forest River publishes no MSRP for the family; confirm live pricing with a dealer.
05 How it compares
The flagship bunkhouse — a foot longer, 466 pounds heavier dry, trading the adaptable room for a private bunk suite and a full camp kitchen.
The triple-queen sleeper — 794 pounds lighter on a single slide, trading the island kitchen for three real beds.
The value-tier triple-slide field — the Aurora counter is the printed weight math and the tankless-plus-heat-pump standard content.
