01 What makes it unique

The Reflection 150 Series 295RL is the rear-living coach of the lightweight 150 line — dual opposing slides open the back into a combined living and kitchen area with theater seating, and a private front bedroom sits in the raised nose. It delivers a genuinely spacious couples’ fifth-wheel experience while keeping the 150 Series towability advantages: a 90-degree turning pin box, CURT Touring Coil suspension and anti-lock brakes with sway control. The Reflection residential build is present: gel-coat fiberglass sidewalls, laminated aluminum framing and a one-piece TPO roof.

It rides on a tandem axle with E-rated tires, with a 10,995-pound GVWR on a 9,045-pound dry weight — leaving 1,950 pounds of payload — and a 1,460-pound dry pin weight within reach of a properly equipped half-ton. A standard 180-watt solar package and 12-volt refrigerator make it camp-ready off hookups, with a 55-gallon fresh tank.

It sleeps four but is really a couples’ coach with room for guests, at an MSRP near $83,800. For buyers who want open rear living in a lightweight, short-bed-friendly Reflection fifth wheel with standard solar, the dual-slide 295RL is the comfort pick of the 150 Series.

03 The Reflection floorplan family

Grand Design's Reflection is the brand's premium-mainstream towable family, and it spans four sub-lines across both tow types. The full-size Reflection fifth wheel is the heart of the range — a residential half-ton-to-three-quarter-ton coach with a 16 cubic-foot refrigerator and laminated aluminum construction. The Reflection travel trailer (the "...TS" plans) brings that same finish to a genuine bumper-pull, for buyers who want Reflection quality without an in-bed hitch. The Reflection 150 Series is the lightest fifth wheel — CURT Touring Coil suspension, standard solar and a 90-degree turning pin box for short-bed half-tons — and the Reflection 100 Series is the accessible short-bed fifth-wheel entry. The 295RL on this page is highlighted; each other profiled plan links to its own page. The full Reflection catalogue runs to dozens of floorplans across all four; the highest-demand layouts are detailed here and the rest are catalogued on the line hub.

The Reflection 150 Series is the lightest fifth wheel in the line — floorplans from under 8,000 pounds dry, a 90-degree turning pin box, CURT Touring Coil suspension, ABS and standard 180-watt solar — built for today's half-ton and short-bed trucks. Pin weights are factory dry figures and climb with cargo; confirm your truck's payload and rear-axle rating. Additional 150 Series floorplans are catalogued on the line hub.

04 What owners & reviewers report

Open rear living, lightweight

Dual slides give a wide rear living area in a coach engineered for short-bed half-tons.

Standard solar + coil suspension

A 180-watt solar package, CURT Touring Coil suspension and ABS come standard on the 150 Series.

Half-ton-friendly pin

A 1,460-lb dry pin keeps a well-equipped half-ton in play for a rear-living fifth wheel.

Confirm the loaded pin

Pin weight climbs with cargo in the front bedroom — weigh loaded and check your truck’s payload and rear axle.
