01 What makes it unique
The 370DV is the rear-living step up from the entry 310GK. Its kitchen moves to the center of the coach as an island and prep bar with twin stainless sinks, and the back of the floorplan opens into an expansive rear lounge with plush theater seating and a tri-fold couch — the room-first layout for a couple who lives in the main room. A private front bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath complete the plan.
It keeps the line’s lighter end. RVUSA lists a published 19,000-pound GVWR against a 13,600-pound dry weight, leaving a generous 5,400-pound payload and a 2,484-pound dry pin — both easy figures for a properly rated three-quarter-ton truck. The full Solitude build is unchanged — 101-inch widebody drop-frame chassis, MORryde pin box, heated underbelly, 330-watt roof solar and a 20-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator — with three slide-outs, two awnings and a single 15,000-BTU air conditioner standard.
At an MSRP of $146,275 it sits just above the entry plan. For a couple who wants a central-island galley and a big rear lounge — and a coach that stays at the easy-towing end of the luxury line — the 370DV is the natural rear-living Solitude.

Solitude is Grand Design's flagship extended-stay fifth wheel and one of the best-selling luxury fifth wheels in North America. The full line runs to ten floorplans for 2026; eight are profiled here and two more are catalogued above. Every plan rides on the same drop-frame 101-inch widebody chassis with a MORryde pin box, 8,000-pound axles and a fully enclosed heated underbelly, and ships with a 330-watt roof solar package, a 20-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator and an on-demand water heater with whole-house filtration as standard. Body specifications (lengths, heights, payload, tanks, sleeping, slides and awnings) are RVUSA-verified against the 2026 structured spec records, each page fp-slug and title checked; dry weight, GVWR, payload and pin weight are published per plan, and each plan's dry weight plus payload equals its GVWR exactly. Real loaded pin weights run higher — always weigh the loaded coach and confirm against your truck's payload and rear-axle ratings.
