01 What makes it unique
The 2680 takes the same sub-30-foot Model Z shell as the 2670 and rebuilds the back of the coach around work. In place of the rear lounge it puts a dedicated rear desk with storage — a true work-from-the-road station — behind a central living room with wall-hugger theater seating, a 64-inch tri-fold sofa that makes a 54-by-70-inch bed, and a Brinkley Dinesk sliding desk/dining table. The front holds a private queen bedroom with four under-bed drawers and a full bath. It is the couples’ plan for two people who need to log on as well as get away.
It stays as easy to tow as the entry plan. RVUSA lists a published 13,995-pound GVWR against a 10,978-pound dry weight, leaving a 3,017-pound payload and a 1,952-pound dry pin — light enough for a well-rated half-ton or three-quarter-ton truck. The full Brinkley build is unchanged — monotube triple-powder-coated chassis, 7,000-pound tandem axles, Helux king pin, brass plumbing, 370-watt solar and a 16-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator — with a single slide, two awnings and the line’s biggest grey tank at 120 gallons for longer stays off hookups.
At an MSRP of $106,942 it sits just above the entry plan. For a remote-working couple who wants a real desk, a private front bedroom and a coach that still tows like the lightest in the line, the 2680 is the work-from-anywhere Model Z.

The Brinkley Model Z is a mid-size luxury fifth wheel built by Brinkley RV, an independent manufacturer founded by RV-industry veterans. The full line runs to twelve floorplans for 2026; eight are profiled here and four more are catalogued above. Every plan rides on the same monotube triple-powder-coated chassis with 7,000-pound tandem axles on 8,000-pound leaf springs, a CURT Touring Coil suspension with ABS and a Helux king pin, and a fully enclosed, heated underbelly, and ships with a 370-watt roof solar package (740-watt ready) with a 50-amp MPPT controller, a 16-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator, brass plumbing fittings and a tankless on-demand water heater as standard — with a class-leading 79.5-inch bed and bath ceiling height. Body specifications (lengths, heights, payload, tanks, sleeping, slides and awnings) are RVUSA-verified against the 2026 structured spec records, each page fp-slug and title checked; dry weight, GVWR, payload and pin weight are published per plan, and each plan's dry weight plus payload equals its GVWR exactly. Real loaded pin weights run higher — always weigh the loaded coach and confirm against your truck's payload and rear-axle ratings.
04 What owners & reviewers report
Dedicated rear office
A rear desk with storage — a genuine work-from-the-road station rather than a fold-down table — the plan’s defining feature.
Big grey tank
A 120-gallon grey tank, the largest in the line — more days between dumps for two people working off-grid.
Still half-ton friendly
A 10,978-lb dry weight and 1,952-lb pin — among the easiest luxury fifth wheels to match to a light truck.
Front queen + full bath
A private front bedroom with four under-bed drawers and a full bath, separated from the work and living space.
05 How it compares
The same shell with a rear living lounge and outside kitchen instead of the rear office — lighter, more sleeping, lower price.
A triple-slide rear-living plan with a center kitchen island and front master — more living space at a higher weight.
Keystone’s half-ton-and-up fifth-wheel line — a lighter, lower-cost mid cross-shop against the Model Z.
