The Catalina Legacy Edition 343BHTS is the flagship of the lineup — the largest, heaviest and most-equipped plan profiled here. A separate rear bunk room sleeps five-plus with two bunks, a COA cube futon, an entertainment center and a solid privacy door; a front master suite up front pairs an enormous closet with a second utility closet prepped for a stackable washer/dryer; and the combined living and kitchen area opens through a triple-slide layout with a booth dinette, an SLS sofa and an L-shaped kitchen. A standard full-size outside camp kitchen with a griddle, a dorm refrigerator and a sink completes it, with nominal capacity of ten.

At 8,936 pounds unloaded and 38 feet 1 inch, the 343BHTS is a three-quarter-ton tow, not a half-ton trailer — the triple slides and bunk room push it past 10,000 pounds loaded. As a top Legacy plan it carries the tier’s richest standard equipment: solid-surface kitchen counters, upgraded aluminum wheels, a 21-foot awning (the longest in the line), 50-amp service and washer/dryer prep, on top of the line’s GE 10.7-cubic-foot 12V refrigerator, 60,000-BTU tankless water heater and 13,500-BTU heat-pump air conditioner. A BAL 5.3 auto-leveling system is a popular option, and the plan offers two alternate configurations — a two-queen-suite version and a den-room version — in place of the bunk room and camp kitchen.

Construction is the line’s metal-sided value build scaled up — a Norco powder-coated steel I-beam frame with full-length outriggers, a Platinum .024-inch aluminum exterior with a smooth radius front, a seamless Alpha roof membrane and an enclosed, fully sealed corrugated underbelly — with JBL Aura audio and a 600-watt solar prep. For a large family that wants a private bunk room, a real master suite and laundry prep in a value-priced package, the 343BHTS is the top of the Catalina range.
