01 What makes it unique
The Salem Hemisphere 275RL is the single-slide rear-living couples coach — a rear lounge wrapped in windows, a kitchen island amidships and a front private bedroom, in a 35-foot full-Hemisphere body. Where most rear-living plans need two or three slides, the 275RL achieves the layout with a single slide, which keeps weight and complexity down. Its twin in the Wildwood Heritage Glen 275RL is the identical trailer in different décor.
It carries the full-Hemisphere build: a vacuum-laminated “Aluma Frame” sidewall and floor with block-foam insulation, a WeatherShield one-piece fiberglass roof, 82-inch sidewalls, Nordic Marble counters, a 10-cubic-foot 12V refrigerator and an 18,000-BTU Furrion Chill Cube with a standard second 13,500-BTU air conditioner, a fireplace, JBL audio and a 50-inch TV. A 200-watt roof-solar package is optional.
With a 9,715-pound derived GVWR the 275RL leaves about 1,282 pounds of cargo capacity — the tightest payload in the line, a consequence of packing a rear-living coach onto a single-slide chassis, so weigh your loaded trailer and pack with care. At 8,433 pounds dry with a 915-pound tongue it tows behind a capable half-ton or three-quarter-ton. For two who want a windowed rear lounge and an island kitchen in the Hemisphere’s laminate build without stepping up to a triple-slide coach — with the identical Wildwood Heritage Glen to cross-shop — the 275RL is a distinctive rear-living option.

03 Salem Hemisphere & Wildwood Heritage Glen floorplan family
Forest River's Salem Hemisphere and its twin the Wildwood Heritage Glen are the same premium-laminate travel trailers built on the same factory line, differing mainly in graphics and décor and sharing an identical floorplan roster. Hemisphere sits at the top of the Salem / Wildwood travel-trailer ladder — a vacuum-laminated "Aluma Frame" coach with a one-piece fiberglass roof, Nordic Marble counters, an 18,000-BTU Furrion Chill Cube and an automotive windshield — in two tiers: a lighter Hyper-Lyte series of half-ton plans and a heavier full-Hemisphere series of triple-slide family and couples' coaches. The 275RL on this page is highlighted; each other profiled plan links to its own page. The line runs to roughly two dozen travel-trailer floorplans plus a fifth-wheel range; the highest-demand layouts are detailed here and the rest are catalogued on the line hub.

Every Salem Hemisphere and Wildwood Heritage Glen trailer is built on a vacuum-laminated "Aluma Frame" sidewall and floor with block-foam insulation, a WeatherShield one-piece fiberglass roof, 82-inch sidewalls and wide-stance 42-inch axles, and ships with an Elevated Value Package (one-piece fiberglass roof, 60,000-BTU tankless water heater, JBL audio, flush-floor slides) and an Expedition Package (60-by-80 or 72-by-80 beds, 18,000-BTU Furrion main A/C, enclosed underbelly with 12V tank heaters, washer/dryer prep). The full-Hemisphere plans add a standard second 13,500-BTU air conditioner (not the 261FKRB or 265BSRB), an electric fireplace on most models, a 50-inch smart TV and an outside kitchen on the larger bunk and rear-living plans. A roof-mounted 200-watt solar package is optional on every plan. Lengths, weights and equipment change with options, region and model year — always confirm against the unit's own weight sticker. Additional Hemisphere travel-trailer floorplans (and the Hemisphere fifth-wheel range) are catalogued on the line hub.
04 What owners & reviewers report
A rear lounge on a single slide
A panoramic-window rear living area and a kitchen island, with a front private bedroom — a rear-living layout achieved with just one slide-out, unusual for the configuration and lighter for it.
Tightest payload in the line
At a 9,715-lb derived GVWR over an 8,433-lb dry weight, the 275RL leaves about 1,282 lb of cargo capacity — the lowest of any Hemisphere travel trailer. Weigh the loaded trailer and pack deliberately, especially with full water.
Awning size not published
The factory floorplan record does not state the 275RL’s awning length; the power awning is standard but its size is shown unverified and excluded from the completeness figure.
GVWR is derived, not published
Forest River publishes UVW (8,433) and CCC (1,282) but not GVWR; the 9,715-lb figure is UVW + CCC, Forest River’s own definition. Flagged.
Sleeps figure varies
Forest River omits a sleeping count; dealers list the 275RL at two to four (the queen plus a convertible). Shown as “up to 4”.
Selling price, not MSRP
Dealer MSRP placards on this plan run into the $60,000s while selling prices cluster around $46,000; the figure shown is dealer-typical and flagged.
05 How it compares
A shorter dual-slide couples coach with a front king bedroom and rear bath instead of a rear lounge — more payload, lower price.
The triple-slide rear-living coach — a kitchen island, a work desk and far more payload in a longer, three-slide body.
