01 What makes it unique
The Reflection 350RDS is a full-size Reflection fifth wheel that appears on Grand Design’s 2027 roster. Grand Design’s own floorplan page lists it at 39 ft 3 in long, 13 ft 3 in tall (13 ft 5 in to the top of the air conditioner) and 8 ft wide, on two axles with two slide-outs and a 16 cubic-foot refrigerator. It sleeps 2–4 as Grand Design displays it, with a 60 x 80 in standard bed.
The weights are Grand Design’s: an unloaded vehicle weight of 12,250 lb, a GVWR of 14,995 lb and a pin weight of 2,700 lb. Grand Design does not publish a cargo carrying capacity for it, so this page does not print one and does not compute one. Tanks are 74 gal fresh, 78 gal grey and 39 gal black; the A/C is listed at 18,000 BTU and the furnace at 35,000 BTU, with a tankless water heater.
At 2,700 lb, the published pin weight is the figure to check first against a truck’s payload and rear-axle rating; the loaded pin will be higher.
How the 350RDS differs from the other nineteen Reflection fifth wheels. Most distinctive first. Each rank counts only the siblings that publish that field, and a figure most of them share is left out. Not every one of these pages covers the same model years as this one (2027); each figure is the one its own page prints, so a rank compares pages, not one model year.
- Pin weight, 2,700 lb: heaviest of twenty; next is the 360FLS (2,600 lb).
- Pin weight as a share of dry weight, 22%: largest of twenty; next is the 360FLS (21%).
- Exterior height, 13 ft 3 in: tallest of twenty; next are the 295RL and 298BH (12 ft 10 in).
- Length, 39 ft 3 in: third-longest of twenty, between the 360FLS (39 ft 2 in) and the 362TBS (39 ft 11 in).
- Dry weight, 12,250 lb: fourth-heaviest of twenty, between the 311BHS (11,700 lb) and the 360FLS (12,388 lb).
- GVWR, 14,995 lb: highest of twenty, level with the 360FLS, 362TBS and 367BHS; next are the 311BHS, 320MKS and two others (13,995 lb).
- Fresh tank, 74 gal: largest of twenty, level with the 303RLS, 311BHS and six others; next are the 22RK, 24RL and nine others (55 gal).
- Slide-out count, 2: shared with the 28RL, 295RL and two others; of twenty, seven fewer and eight more, nearest the 22RK, 24RL and five others (1) and the 303RLS, 320MKS and two others (3).
Next to the 311BHS (2026 page), the nearest lighter floorplan by dry weight, the 350RDS is 550 lb heavier by dry weight, has a GVWR 1,000 lb higher, has a pin weight 250 lb heavier, is 2 ft 4 in longer, stands 1 ft taller, has a grey tank 9 gal smaller, has a black tank 48 gal smaller and has two fewer slide-outs; the two publish the same fresh tank.
Next to the 360FLS (2026 page), the nearest heavier floorplan by dry weight, the 350RDS is 138 lb lighter by dry weight, has a pin weight 100 lb heavier, is 1 in longer, stands 7 in taller and has three fewer slide-outs; the two publish the same GVWR, fresh tank, grey tank and black tank.

Towing it
Check your vehicle. Enter the ratings from your owner’s manual and the door-pillar placard.
Compares your figures with this page’s published GVWR (14,995 lb) and the upper loaded pin estimate (3,749 lb, a rule of thumb). Your vehicle’s placard and the trailer’s own weight label govern.
Loaded range: 15–25% of GVWR on the pin, a rule of thumb, not a measurement of this unit. No truck ratings or hitch classes (why; NHTSA, DOT HS 809 433). The range starts at the published figure, because loaded is never lighter than that.
03 The Reflection floorplan family
Grand Design's Reflection is the brand's premium-mainstream towable family, and it spans four sub-lines across both tow types. The full-size Reflection fifth wheel is the heart of the range — a residential coach with a 16 cubic-foot refrigerator and laminated aluminum construction. The Reflection travel trailer (the "...TS" plans) brings that same finish to a genuine bumper-pull, for buyers who want Reflection quality without an in-bed hitch. The Reflection 150 Series adds CURT Touring Coil suspension, standard solar and a 90-degree turning pin box — and the Reflection 100 Series is the accessible short-bed fifth-wheel entry. The 350RDS on this page is highlighted; each other profiled plan links to its own page. Every current Reflection floorplan on Grand Design’s site has its own page here.

The full-size Reflection fifth wheel is the volume heart of the line, sitting below the luxury Solitude and new Influence fifth wheels and above the lighter 150 and 100 Series. Pin weights are the factory’s published figures and climb with cargo — even a light coach needs its loaded pin checked against the truck's payload and rear-axle rating.
04 Notes on this floorplan
Grand Design’s 2027 figures
UVW 12,250 lb, GVWR 14,995 lb and pin 2,700 lb, all as Grand Design lists them for 2027.

11 NHTSA safety record
NHTSA holds 21 recall campaigns and 149 owner complaints (model years 2005 on) against the Reflection line. They are counted separately: a recall is a confirmed defect with a remedy, a complaint one owner’s unverified account.
What to look at on a used one. Across the 149 complaints filed on this line the most-reported components are service brakes (28%), structure (19%) and suspension (14%).
Recall coverage here is not complete, and complaints are owners’ unverified reports (how this record is built). Check a specific VIN at NHTSA before you buy. Full tables are on the Reflection line page.
