01 What makes it unique

The 2810 is the Model Z built for families who need a separate place to put the kids. Its defining feature is a rear bunkhouse with an L-shaped 72-by-92-by-32-inch top bunk over cubbies and a 44-by-72-inch bottom bunk — plus the bunkroom’s own private entrance/exit door, so children can come and go without tracking through the living space. Just forward is the kitchen with a flip-up counter extension and dishwasher prep, a 62-inch theater seat and a 64-inch tri-fold sofa, and up a step at the front, a private bedroom and full bath.

It stays light for a bunk plan. RVUSA lists a published 14,995-pound GVWR against an 11,894-pound dry weight, leaving a 3,101-pound payload and a 1,998-pound dry pin — still manageable for a properly rated three-quarter-ton truck. The full Brinkley build carries through on the monotube triple-powder-coated chassis with 7,000-pound tandem axles, a Helux king pin and brass plumbing, with a 16-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator, 370-watt solar and the two-air-conditioner package standard.

At an MSRP of $110,395 it is the most affordable way into a Brinkley bunkhouse. For a family that wants luxury-grade construction, a real dual-entry bunkroom and a coach that still tows under 12,000 pounds dry, the 2810 is the family Model Z.

The Brinkley Model Z is a mid-size luxury fifth wheel built by Brinkley RV, an independent manufacturer founded by RV-industry veterans. The full line runs to twelve floorplans for 2026; eight are profiled here and four more are catalogued above. Every plan rides on the same monotube triple-powder-coated chassis with 7,000-pound tandem axles on 8,000-pound leaf springs, a CURT Touring Coil suspension with ABS and a Helux king pin, and a fully enclosed, heated underbelly, and ships with a 370-watt roof solar package (740-watt ready) with a 50-amp MPPT controller, a 16-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator, brass plumbing fittings and a tankless on-demand water heater as standard — with a class-leading 79.5-inch bed and bath ceiling height. Body specifications (lengths, heights, payload, tanks, sleeping, slides and awnings) are RVUSA-verified against the 2026 structured spec records, each page fp-slug and title checked; dry weight, GVWR, payload and pin weight are published per plan, and each plan's dry weight plus payload equals its GVWR exactly. Real loaded pin weights run higher — always weigh the loaded coach and confirm against your truck's payload and rear-axle ratings.

04 What owners & reviewers report

Dual-entry bunkhouse

A rear bunkroom with L-shaped bunks and its own private entrance door — kids in and out without crossing the living space.

Lightest family plan

At 11,894 lb dry with a 3,101-lb payload it is the easiest-towing bunk Model Z — a three-quarter-ton truck handles it.

Flip-up kitchen counter

A flip-up counter extension adds prep and serving space in a single-slide footprint — plus dishwasher prep.

Private front bedroom

A queen front bedroom and full bath up a step at the front, separated from the bunkroom and living area.

05 How it compares

↔ Cross-shop
Brinkley Model Z 3610

The flagship family plan — a far larger flexible mid-coach bonus room and four slides if the single-slide 2810 is too small.

↔ Cross-shop

Jayco’s mid fifth-wheel line — a bunk-capable mid-size cross-shop against the Model Z.

↓ Lighter
