01 What makes it unique
The 2900 is the first triple-slide Model Z, and the rear-living plan for a couple who lives in the main room. The back of the coach is an inviting rear living area with a 72-inch tri-fold sofa and theater seating across from a televator and an electric fireplace; ahead of it sits a center kitchen island with a farmhouse sink and an 84-inch pantry, and the front holds a private master bedroom with a queen bed, a wardrobe slide and a spacious bath. Three slide-outs open the living, kitchen and bedroom in just under 33 feet.
It keeps the line’s lighter end despite the extra slides. RVUSA lists a published 14,995-pound GVWR against an 11,985-pound dry weight, leaving a 3,010-pound payload and a 2,193-pound dry pin — easy figures for a properly rated three-quarter-ton truck. The full Brinkley build is unchanged on the monotube chassis with 7,000-pound tandem axles, a Helux king pin and brass plumbing, with a 16-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator, 370-watt solar and the two-air-conditioner package standard.
At an MSRP of $118,385 it sits in the lower-middle of the line. For a couple who wants three slides of rear-living space, a center island galley and a fireplace — in a coach that still tows under 12,000 pounds dry — the 2900 is the natural rear-living Model Z.

The Brinkley Model Z is a mid-size luxury fifth wheel built by Brinkley RV, an independent manufacturer founded by RV-industry veterans. The full line runs to twelve floorplans for 2026; eight are profiled here and four more are catalogued above. Every plan rides on the same monotube triple-powder-coated chassis with 7,000-pound tandem axles on 8,000-pound leaf springs, a CURT Touring Coil suspension with ABS and a Helux king pin, and a fully enclosed, heated underbelly, and ships with a 370-watt roof solar package (740-watt ready) with a 50-amp MPPT controller, a 16-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator, brass plumbing fittings and a tankless on-demand water heater as standard — with a class-leading 79.5-inch bed and bath ceiling height. Body specifications (lengths, heights, payload, tanks, sleeping, slides and awnings) are RVUSA-verified against the 2026 structured spec records, each page fp-slug and title checked; dry weight, GVWR, payload and pin weight are published per plan, and each plan's dry weight plus payload equals its GVWR exactly. Real loaded pin weights run higher — always weigh the loaded coach and confirm against your truck's payload and rear-axle ratings.
04 What owners & reviewers report
Rear living + fireplace
A rear lounge with theater seating, a televator and an electric fireplace — the room-first plan for couples.
Center kitchen island
A center island galley with a farmhouse sink and an 84-inch pantry between the lounge and the front master.
Three slides, still light
Triple slide-outs at an 11,985-lb dry weight — one of the easier triple-slide luxury fifth wheels to tow.
Private front master
A front master bedroom with a queen bed, a wardrobe slide and a spacious bath — separated from the living space.
05 How it compares
The single-slide couples plan — lighter and lower in price, with a rear office instead of a rear lounge.
A longer triple-slide rear-living plan — more length and sleeping with the same center-island layout.
Grand Design’s mid fifth wheel — the established mid-size-luxury cross-shop.
