Type in your own vehicle’s numbers and this page checks every floorplan in the catalogue against them, using the trailer’s published GVWR: the most the manufacturer says it may weigh, loaded. It lists the floorplans that fit, with how much room each leaves, and you can narrow the list by type, sleeping capacity, length and maker. Nothing here looks your vehicle up: tow ratings change with engine, axle ratio, cab, bed and options, so only your own vehicle’s figures will do.
1,351 of the 1,810 floorplans here publish a GVWR and can be checked. 456 publish none in the sources this site reads; 3 print a GVWR that their own figures dispute; they are listed below the results as “can’t check”, never guessed at.
Enter a maximum trailer weight to see which floorplans fit.
| Floorplan | Type | GVWR | Room | Hitch/pin wt (published) | Loaded hitch/pin (assumption) | Length | Sleeps |

Can’t check
The check, in full: GVWR at or under your maximum trailer weight (and under the hitch’s trailer rating, if you enter one); the loaded hitch or pin estimate plus people and cargo at or under payload, if you enter payload; the estimate at or under the hitch’s tongue or pin rating, if you enter one. A floorplan fits only if every check you filled in passes. ⚠ marks a floorplan whose published dry weight plus cargo capacity does not equal its published GVWR; it is checked on the published GVWR. A hitch figure flagged as implausible on its own page is shown but not used. Your numbers stay in this page and its address bar; nothing is stored or sent.
Where each number is on your vehicle
Maximum trailer weight (tow rating). In the owner’s manual or the vehicle maker’s towing guide, for your exact engine, axle ratio, cab, bed and drive. Some vehicles also print it on a trailering label. A figure for “the model” in general can be thousands of pounds off yours.
Payload. The Tire and Loading Information placard on the driver’s door pillar: “The combined weight of occupants and cargo should never exceed … lbs” (49 CFR 571.110 S4.3). A trailer’s tongue or pin weight is cargo on that count, along with everyone in the vehicle and everything in the bed and cab, so it often runs out before the tow rating does.
Hitch rating. On the label or stamping on your receiver, ball mount or fifth-wheel hitch: a maximum trailer weight and a maximum tongue (or pin) weight. The lowest-rated part of the hitch sets the limit, and a weight-distributing hitch can change it.
GVWR (the trailer’s number). The trailer’s gross vehicle weight rating, from its maker: the most it may weigh with water, propane, gear and options aboard. Dry weight is the trailer before any of that, so a check against dry weight passes trailers that will be over your rating once they are packed. Every check here uses GVWR.
What this check leaves out
It does not check your vehicle’s gross combined weight rating (GCWR) or its rear axle rating, which can be the tighter limit; compare those with a weigh ticket of the loaded rig. It does not add a safety margin for grade, altitude, wind or braking, because a margin a website invents has no source; the “room” column shows what is left so you can judge. Figures are the makers’ published base-unit numbers, and installed options change real weights. A floorplan that fits here is a starting point for a scale ticket, not a substitute for one, and the list is in order of room, not a ranking of trailers.
Where the catalogue sits, by GVWR band
The 1,351 floorplans that publish a GVWR, grouped by it, so you can see what a rating covers before you enter anything. Model-year records are not included. The hitch and pin column is the published range inside each band, with how many floorplans in the band publish one. Left out of these ranges: Jayco Eagle 284BHOK and Jayco Jay Flight Bungalow 40LSDL, whose published hitch figures are physically implausible against their own dry weight and are listed on the published-figure conflicts page.

7 floorplans and 21 model-year records publish figures that disagree with each other: dry weight plus cargo capacity does not equal the published GVWR. They are matched here on the published GVWR, the manufacturer's stated ceiling, and marked ⚠ in the results. 7 of the 7 floorplans are listed with their arithmetic on the published-figure conflicts page, and 28 of all 28 carry the disagreement on their own page. Nothing is averaged or corrected.
What this page will not do
It will not tell you what your vehicle can tow. It will not add a safety margin for you, because the right margin depends on grade, altitude, wind, brake controller and how you load, and a margin invented by a website is a number with no source. It will not treat dry weight as a tow weight. Weigh the actual trailer, loaded, before you rely on any of it.
