01 What makes it unique
Keystone publishes three weights for the Coleman 19S: a shipping weight of 4,516 lb, a carrying capacity of 3,384 lb and a hitch weight of 470 lb. Those are Keystone’s own terms, and this page keeps them. Keystone does not call the first figure dry or unloaded weight, does not say the hitch figure is measured dry, and publishes no GVWR for any Coleman floorplan, so none of the three is renamed here and no loaded rating is worked out from them. The trailer’s own federal weight label, inside the door, is the document that carries its UVW, cargo capacity and GVWR.
Keystone’s 2027 floorplan drawing for the 19S shows, at the front, a queen bed between wardrobes. Mid-coach: a sofa in a slide with a removable table, a refrigerator, and a kitchen with an air fryer, a sink and a TV prep. At the rear: a bath with a shower, a toilet, a sink and a pantry. It draws one slide-out and a 16-foot awning. Outside it labels pass-through storage. Layouts change with options; check the unit itself.
Keystone’s 2027 floorplan page for the 19S lists 41 standard and optional items in 8 groups. Systems and running gear it lists as standard: I-beam frame with stamped steel cross-members & outriggers; 15,000 BTU non-ducted A/C; 20,000 BTU furnace; 42,000 BTU Suburban tankless water heater; USB A + C plugs; 10 cubic foot refrigerator; Air fryer/convection/microwave; Microwave; 2 burner gas range; and Interior and exterior LED lighting. Standard on the 19S but not on every Coleman floorplan page Keystone publishes (17 compared): LP quick connect; XL entry assist handle; Furrion® backup camera prep; Full pass through storage with extra tall doors; Exterior shower with hot and cold water; Carpetless and flush floor slideout; Tru-fit™ slide construction; Extra large window looking at campsite; 60x74 queen bed with underbed storage; Wardrobe for hanging storage; Upgraded Oxygenics Fury showerhead; and Propane gas leak detector. Marked optional: Spare tire kit.
Tank capacities are 41 gal fresh, 34 gal gray and 34 gal waste, as Keystone lists them. Fresh water weighs about 8.3 lb per US gallon, so a full fresh tank is roughly 340 lb on the road before anything else is loaded. The tire size Keystone lists is ST215/75R14D.
Against the 1 Coleman floorplans profiled here, this one is the 1st by Keystone’s shipping weight, in a range from 4,516 lb (19S) to 4,516 lb (19S). Every figure in that comparison comes from the same Keystone page type for the same model year, so the comparison inside the series is like for like.
Every number on this page was read on 2 Nov 2026 from Keystone’s own floorplan page for the Coleman 19S. That page carries no model year, so the year comes from the roster page that links it, which lists the Coleman floorplans under the heading “2027 Floorplans”. Keystone notes that its website reflects the most recent production run and that features and specifications change during the year.
How the 19S differs from the other twelve Coleman floorplans. Most distinctive first. Sibling pages may cover other model years than this one (2027). How these ranks are worked out.

- Hitch weight as Keystone lists it, 470 lb: third-lightest of ten, between the 13S (340 lb) and the 13T (480 lb).
- Shipping weight (Keystone’s term), 4,516 lb: fourth-heaviest of ten, between the 19B (4,240 lb) and the 23B (4,519 lb).
- Sleeping capacity, 2: smallest of thirteen, level with the 13R; next is the 17R (3).
- Length, 23 ft 6 in: sixth-longest of thirteen, between the 17R (20 ft 8 in) and the 19B (23 ft 7 in).
- Exterior height, 10 ft 10 in: tallest of thirteen, level with the 19R, 25B and 27B; next is the 23B (10 ft 8 in).

Towing it
Can’t check: Keystone publishes no GVWR. A tow check needs the GVWR, the most the trailer may weigh loaded, and Keystone prints none for this floorplan, so this site does not work one out. Read the GVWR on the trailer’s own federal weight label and hold it against your tow vehicle’s ratings.
03 The Coleman floorplan family

04 Notes on this floorplan
What Keystone does not publish for the Coleman
No GVWR, no unloaded (dry) weight under that name, no dry hitch weight and no exterior width appear on Keystone’s floorplan pages for this series, so those rows read as not published. Nothing is filled from a sibling floorplan, a different model year or a dealer listing.
Read the label on the trailer
Federal rules put a load-carrying label inside every RV trailer: its unloaded weight with full propane, its cargo carrying capacity and its GVWR (49 CFR 571.110 and 571.120). On a Coleman those figures come from the trailer, not from this page, and they govern the towing decision.

11 NHTSA safety record
NHTSA holds 11 recall campaigns and 2 owner complaints (model years 2005 on) against the Coleman line (a recall and a complaint are not the same thing).
Too few reports to show a pattern. 2 complaints have been filed on this line — not enough to say what fails most often. They cover structure.
Recall coverage here is not complete, and complaints are owners’ unverified reports (how this record is built). Check a specific VIN at NHTSA before you buy. Full tables are on the Coleman line page.
