01 What makes it unique
The Silver Lake 1600RBLE leaves East to West's factory at 3,548 lbs dry with 1,327 lbs of cargo capacity. East to West publishes no GVWR for this line, so the loaded rating is not quoted on this page and is not computed from the other two figures. What the cargo number covers is defined by the factory: fresh water, gear, food, batteries and every dealer-installed accessory come out of it. Fresh water is 8.3 lb per gallon, so filling the 40-gallon fresh tank spends 332 lbs of the 1,327 lbs before anything else goes in.
Tongue weight is 475 lbs, 13% of the dry weight as published; it rises as the trailer is loaded and counts against the tow vehicle’s tongue-weight and payload limits (tongue weight by size).
Off hookups: 60 gallons of grey and black capacity against 40 gallons of fresh water, so fresh water runs out first (tank sizes by length).
Against the rest of the Silver Lake roster this is the 3rd of 13 floorplans by dry weight, in a line that runs from 3,149 lbs to 7,518 lbs. It sits in the lighter third of the line.
Plan the tow on loaded weight, not the 3,548 lbs dry figure: half the published cargo capacity brings this plan to about 4,212 lbs. East to West publishes no loaded rating for this line, so the ceiling is the one on the trailer’s own weight label (how to read trailer weights).
East to West’s line listing and this floorplan’s own factory page agree on all 4 shared figures. No GVWR is published for this line, so dry plus cargo has no rating to check against. A missing row means East to West does not publish that figure (how figures are verified).
East to West publishes no floorplan description for this plan in the channel this page is built from - only the numeric specification block. Rather than describe a layout from the floorplan code, which would be a guess dressed as a fact, this page carries what the factory publishes and says where it stops. 1600RBLE is a Silver Lake designation and this site does not decode it into a layout claim.
How the 1600RBLE differs from the other twelve Silver Lake floorplans. Most distinctive first. Sibling pages may cover other model years than this one (2026). How these ranks are worked out.
- Tongue weight, 475 lb: second-lightest of thirteen, between the 19SBH (415 lb) and the 15SRB (485 lb).
- Length, 21 ft 3 in: second-shortest of thirteen, between the 19SBH (20 ft 4 in) and the 15SRB (21 ft 7 in).
- Dry weight, 3,548 lb: third-lightest of thirteen, between the 15SRB (3,279 lb) and the 1610BHLE (3,878 lb).
- Tongue weight as a share of dry weight, 13.4%: third-largest of thirteen, between the 19SBH (13.2%) and the 1610BHLE (13.9%).
- Cargo capacity, 1,327 lb: fifth-smallest of thirteen, between the 1700BHLE (1,317 lb) and the 2600RB (1,562 lb).
- Exterior height, 10 ft 3 in: lowest of thirteen, level with the 15SRB, 1610BHLE and 1700BHLE; next are the 19SBH and 19SBHS (10 ft 4 in).
Next to the 15SRB (2027 page), the nearest lighter floorplan by dry weight, the 1600RBLE is 269 lb heavier by dry weight, has 279 lb less cargo capacity, has a tongue weight 10 lb lighter, is 4 in shorter and has a fresh tank 1 gal smaller; the two publish the same exterior height, grey tank and black tank.
Next to the 1610BHLE, the nearest heavier floorplan by dry weight, the 1600RBLE is 330 lb lighter by dry weight, has 265 lb more cargo capacity, has a tongue weight 65 lb lighter and is 1 ft 2 in shorter; the two publish the same exterior height, fresh tank, grey tank and black tank.

03 The Silver Lake floorplan family
Silver Lake is the lightest complete roster on this site from any East to West line, and it is organised around a single split. Three LE plans are single-axle trailers from 3,548 lb dry with 475 to 550 lb on the tongue; the other seven are tandem-axle and run to 7,518 lb dry with 565 to 780 lb on the tongue. Every one of the ten is a bumper pull. The practical read is that the tow rating that matters is the one on your own door sticker, against the loaded weight rather than the dry figure. Cargo capacity runs 1,062 to 3,462 lb.

Silver Lake is published by East to West across ten floorplans for 2026 in two groupings: LE single-axle travel trailers and Silver Lake travel trailers. East to West publishes dry weight, cargo capacity, hitch weight, all three exterior dimensions and all three tank capacities for all ten. It publishes no GVWR for any of them, so the loaded rating reads not published throughout and is never derived by adding dry weight to cargo capacity. No plan on this roster is dealer-stock-only and none is missing a published field, so all ten are eligible. One honest note on scope: when the factory pages were saved, Silver Lake was not linked from East to West's own travel-trailer category page, although the factory was publishing a complete 2026 roster for it at a live URL. East to West is a Forest River company; Silver Lake is not a Forest River-badged trailer.
04 Notes on this floorplan
What East to West does not publish for this line
Sleeping capacity, axle count, tire size and MSRP are absent from East to West's specification channel for Silver Lake, so they are absent here. They are not estimated from the segment, not carried over from a sibling floorplan, and not taken from a dealer listing quoting itself. A tire size in particular is a safety-relevant number that differs between two codes a digit apart, and this site does not guess one.
There is no factory GVWR for this trailer
East to West publishes dry weight, cargo capacity and tongue weight for every Silver Lake floorplan and publishes no GVWR for any of them. The factory's own glossary defines cargo capacity as GVWR minus UVW, which means the rating can be worked out - and a figure you worked out is not a figure the manufacturer published, so this page does not print one. Use the weight label on the trailer itself, which every East to West unit carries.
Weigh it before you tow it
East to West calls its unloaded weight an estimated average for a standard build, and options and dealer add-ons change it, so weigh your own trailer loaded the way you travel (how figures are verified).
05 How it compares
3,878 lbs dry, 330 lbs more than this plan, and 1,062 lbs of cargo capacity against this one's 1,327 lbs.
3,462 lbs of cargo capacity, the highest of the 13 Silver Lake floorplans profiled here. If payload rather than length is the binding constraint, that is the plan to compare against.
06 Loading it for a trip
A full 40-gallon fresh tank is about 332 lb of water, 25% of the 1600RBLE’s 1,327 lb cargo capacity, leaving 995 lb. Across 13 Silver Lake floorplans the water share runs 10% to 35%, and 4 give up more than this one. Nearest on that share: Silver Lake 2600RB at 21% and Silver Lake 1700BHLE at 25%.
07 Where this floorplan sits
Closest sibling: the Silver Lake 15SRB, nearest on the published figures. It differs on 5 of the 7 fields both publish (this plan first): length 21 ft 3 in vs 21 ft 7 in; dry weight 3,548 lb vs 3,279 lb; cargo capacity 1,327 lb vs 1,606 lb; hitch weight 475 lb vs 485 lb; fresh tank 40 gal vs 41 gal. They match on grey tank and black tank.

11 NHTSA safety record
NHTSA holds 10 recall campaigns and 1 owner complaint (model years 2005 on) against the Silver Lake line (a recall and a complaint are not the same thing).
Too few reports to show a pattern. 1 complaint has been filed on this line — not enough to say what fails most often. It covers equipment.
Recall coverage here is not complete, and complaints are owners’ unverified reports (how this record is built). Check a specific VIN at NHTSA before you buy. Full tables are on the Silver Lake line page.
