01 What makes it unique
The XLR Boost 363BX leaves Forest River's factory at 12,064 lbs dry with 4,731 lbs of cargo capacity. Forest River publishes no GVWR for this line, so the loaded rating is not quoted on this page and is not computed from the other two figures. What the cargo number covers is defined by the factory: fresh water, gear, food, batteries and every dealer-installed accessory come out of it. Fresh water is 8.3 lb per gallon, so filling the 150-gallon fresh tank spends 1,245 lbs of the 4,731 lbs before anything else goes in.
Pin weight is 2,795 lbs, 23% of the dry weight as published; it rises as the trailer is loaded and comes off the truck’s payload, not its towing rating, so check it against the payload on your own door sticker (pin weight and payload).
Off hookups: 154 gallons of grey and black capacity against 150 gallons of fresh water, so fresh water runs out first (tank sizes by length).
Against the rest of the XLR Boost fifth-wheel roster this is the 4th of 5 fifth wheels by dry weight, in a line that runs from 9,094 lbs to 13,074 lbs. It sits in the heavier third of the line.
Plan the tow on loaded weight, not the 12,064 lbs dry figure: half the published cargo capacity brings this plan to about 14,430 lbs. Forest River publishes no loaded rating for this line, so the ceiling is the one on the trailer’s own weight label (how to read trailer weights).
Forest River’s line listing and this floorplan’s own factory page agree on all 4 shared figures. No GVWR is published for this line, so dry plus cargo has no rating to check against. A missing row means Forest River does not publish that figure (how figures are verified).
Forest River publishes no floorplan description for this plan in the channel this page is built from - only the numeric specification block. Rather than describe a layout from the floorplan code, which would be a guess dressed as a fact, this page carries what the factory publishes and says where it stops. 363BX is a XLR Boost designation and this site does not decode it into a layout claim.
How the 363BX differs from the other four XLR Boost fifth wheels. Most distinctive first. Sibling pages may cover other model years than this one (2026). How these ranks are worked out.
- Dry weight, 12,064 lb: second-heaviest of five, between the 375BX (11,944 lb) and the 366BX (13,074 lb).
- Cargo capacity, 4,731 lb: second-smallest of five, between the 375BX (4,676 lb) and the 286B (5,000 lb).
- Pin weight, 2,795 lb: second-heaviest of five, between the 310BX (2,710 lb) and the 366BX (3,220 lb).
- Pin weight as a share of dry weight, 23.2%: third-smallest of five, between the 286B (23%) and the 310BX (23.5%).
- Length, 40 ft 6 in: third-shortest of five, between the 310BX (36 ft 2 in) and the 366BX (43 ft 6 in).
Next to the 375BX (2027 page), the nearest lighter floorplan by dry weight, the 363BX is 120 lb heavier by dry weight, has 55 lb more cargo capacity, has a pin weight 175 lb heavier and is 4 ft 9 in shorter; the two publish the same exterior height, fresh tank, grey tank and black tank.
Next to the 366BX, the nearest heavier floorplan by dry weight, the 363BX is 1,010 lb lighter by dry weight, has 569 lb less cargo capacity, has a pin weight 425 lb lighter, is 3 ft shorter and stands 1 in lower; the two publish the same fresh tank, grey tank and black tank.

The 2027 model year, as Forest River lists it
Forest River’s own floorplan page lists the 2027 XLR Boost 363BX with the figures below (read 22 Oct 2026). They are that year’s record. The specifications above are the 2026 record; the two are not merged, and neither fills a gap in the other. Every weight, dimension and tank figure in it matches the 2026 record above. Forest River publishes no GVWR for this floorplan, so none is shown and none is computed.

03 The XLR Boost floorplan family
XLR Boost is the hardest of Forest River's toy-hauler rosters to read from the outside, for two reasons. It mixes classes: three published floorplans are XLR Boost travel trailers at 6,758 to 8,393 lb dry with 1,175 to 1,500 lb on the tongue, and three are XLR Boost or XLR Boost X fifth wheels at 9,094 to 13,074 lb dry with 2,090 to 3,220 lb on the pin. And Forest River publishes no GVWR for any of the eleven plans, so the loaded figure that determines whether a given truck can legally tow a given plan is not available from the factory in this channel. Cargo capacity is published, 2,507 to 5,300 lb, and dry weight is published, so what the roster tells you is what the trailer weighs empty and how much it will carry - not what it may weigh when full.
| Floorplan | Nominal | Dry weight (lb) | Cargo, CCC (lb) | Notable |

XLR Boost is published by Forest River across eleven floorplans for 2026 in four groupings: XLR Boost travel trailers, XLR Boost fifth wheels, XLR Boost X fifth wheels, and five plans sold dealer-stock only. Forest River publishes dry weight, cargo capacity, hitch weight, all three exterior dimensions and all three tank capacities. It publishes **no GVWR for any plan on this roster**, so the GVWR row reads not published on every page here rather than showing a figure this site added up itself - dry weight plus cargo capacity is an arithmetic result, not a manufacturer rating, and the two are not interchangeable on a placard or at a weigh station. The five dealer-stock-only plans carry no published body type, so they are catalogued with their weights and not profiled; this site will not infer whether a trailer is a fifth wheel from its floorplan number. Sleeping capacity, axle count, tire size and MSRP are not published in this channel, and neither is garage length.
04 Notes on this floorplan
What Forest River does not publish for this line
Sleeping capacity, axle count, tire size and MSRP are not in Forest River’s specification channel for XLR Boost, so this page does not publish them and does not estimate them (how figures are verified).
There is no factory GVWR for this trailer
Forest River publishes dry weight, cargo capacity and pin weight for every XLR Boost floorplan and publishes no GVWR for any of them. The factory's own glossary defines cargo capacity as GVWR minus UVW, which means the rating can be worked out - and a figure you worked out is not a figure the manufacturer published, so this page does not print one. Use the weight label on the trailer itself, which every Forest River unit carries.
Weigh it before you tow it
Forest River calls its unloaded weight an estimated average for a standard build, and options and dealer add-ons change it, so weigh your own trailer loaded the way you travel (how figures are verified).
05 How it compares
9,094 lbs dry against this plan's 12,064 lbs, a difference of 2,970 lbs.
13,074 lbs dry, 1,010 lbs more than this plan, and 5,300 lbs of cargo capacity against this one's 4,731 lbs.
5,300 lbs of cargo capacity, the highest of the 5 XLR Boost fifth wheels profiled here. If payload rather than length is the binding constraint, that is the plan to compare against.
06 Loading it for a trip
A full 150-gallon fresh tank is about 1,245 lb of water, 26% of the 363BX’s 4,731 lb cargo capacity, leaving 3,486 lb. Across 5 XLR Boost fifth-wheel floorplans the water share runs 17% to 27%, and 1 gives up more than this one. Nearest on that share: XLR Boost 310BX at 24% and XLR Boost 375BX at 27%.
07 Where this floorplan sits
Closest sibling: the XLR Boost 375BX, nearest on the published figures. It differs on 4 of the 7 fields both publish (this plan first): length 40 ft 6 in vs 45 ft 3 in; dry weight 12,064 lb vs 11,944 lb; cargo capacity 4,731 lb vs 4,676 lb; hitch weight 2,795 lb vs 2,620 lb. They match on fresh tank, grey tank and black tank.
