01 What makes it unique

The Cherokee Grey Wolf 29TE is the big-family flagship of the line — a 37-foot bunkhouse built around a serious outdoor-living setup. A rear bunkhouse sleeps the kids, a private front bedroom anchors the other end, dual entry doors give outdoor access to the bathroom, and the exterior kitchen is a genuine outdoor galley with a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, an ice maker, a cooktop, a sink and storage. It is designed for families who do most of their cooking and living outside the trailer.

It carries the Grey Wolf build — a wood-frame body with aluminum sidewall construction and the Cherokee Stable Step, with the Black Label trim adding Thermo-Foil Arctic insulation, gel-coat sidewalls and frameless tinted windows. A 13,500-BTU air conditioner is standard and a solar package is available. Despite the length and family focus it stays relatively light at 6,428 pounds dry.

Against a 7,837-pound GVWR that leaves about 1,410 pounds of payload, which a large family fills quickly once water, gear and the loaded outside kitchen are aboard, so it rewards deliberate packing and a well-equipped half-ton or three-quarter-ton truck and a full-size site. RVUSA does not publish the refrigerator's cubic footage, so it is flagged. For large families who want maximum beds and a true outdoor kitchen at a value-tier price, the 29TE is the Grey Wolf line's family flagship.

Every Cherokee Grey Wolf travel trailer is built on a wood-frame body with aluminum sidewall construction and rides on the Cherokee Stable Step; the Black Label trim adds Thermo-Foil Arctic insulation, gel-coat sidewalls and frameless tinted windows. Lengths, weights and equipment change with options and model year — always confirm against the unit's own weight sticker. Wolf Pup and Wolf Den lightweight spin-offs and the Arctic Wolf fifth wheels are documented separately.

04 What owners & reviewers report

A true outdoor-living family flagship

37 feet with a rear bunkhouse, dual entry and a full exterior kitchen — side-by-side fridge, ice maker, cooktop and sink — built for families who live outside.

Sleeps eight with real separation

A private front bedroom and a rear bunk room at opposite ends give a big family room and privacy in the line's top family plan.

Plan the truck, site and payload

At 6,428 lb dry, ~1,410 lb payload and 37 feet it needs a well-equipped half-ton or 3/4-ton and a full-size site — weigh it loaded.

Refrigerator size not published

RVUSA's structured record confirms a refrigerator but not its cubic footage; it is shown unverified and excluded from the completeness figure.
