01 What makes it unique

The 2100QB is the plan for buyers who want tandem-axle stability and a real berth count without paying for — or maintaining — a slide. The factory prints sleeping for up to eight in a 21-foot-9 box built around a queen bed, with the full tandem equipment set: the 13,500-BTU roof air conditioner, a 30,000-BTU furnace, two 20-pound LP bottles, the 52/39/39-gallon tank group and a 16-foot awning.

The build is the shared Prowler architecture — integrated A-frame chassis, TrussXL 4,500-pound roof truss under the limited-lifetime PVC membrane, MORryde StepAbove steps, tankless water heater, 8-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator, solar prep — on tandem 3,500-pound axles with 14-inch Load Range D tires. The printed 6,000-pound GVWR equals the 4,430-pound dry weight plus 1,570-pound cargo capacity exactly, and the 7,000 pounds of summed axle rating sits above the GVWR with margin.

At 4,430 pounds dry this is honest mid-size-truck work, and no slide means no slide seals, motors or toppers to maintain — the trade is that the interior stays fixed-width at camp. Families who want the open floor should read the 2602BHS; the slide-free 2600BH adds four feet of the same idea.

03 Prowler floorplan family

Heartland's Prowler line — the value family of the fall-2025 Heartland relaunch under Jayco: twenty-one 2026 floorplans from a 16-foot micro bunk to a 37-foot-10 triple-slide rear-living flagship, every one on an integrated A-frame chassis with a TrussXL 4,500-pound roof truss under a limited-lifetime PVC membrane, a tankless water heater, an 8-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator and MORryde StepAbove steps standard, with the light single-axle plans wearing the Lynx Edition badge. Eight plans are profiled in depth; the full roster including catalogued plans lives on the Prowler hub with verified weights.

The Prowler roster splits into two build classes: single-axle compacts (the 1300–1800-series plus the 1802MBS — an 8,000-BTU wall air conditioner, one 20-lb LP bottle) and tandem-axle full-size plans (13,500-BTU roof air, two bottles, with 15,000-BTU and second-A/C-plus-50-amp options). The light plans wear Heartland's Lynx Edition badge — a trim identity, not a separate line. This is a published-GVWR-clean line on the factory pages for every profiled plan except the 2601RLS, whose published set does not sum and is flagged on its page. RVUSA's MSRPs run roughly $375–$525 below the current factory Base MSRP (stale records, logged; the 3301RLT gap is $9,525) and West-edition twins are excluded. Always confirm against the unit's weight sticker before towing.

04 What owners & reviewers report

Eight berths, no slide

A full family berth count without slide hardware — less to maintain, less to leak, and a lighter dry weight for the length.

The 50-amp option gate

Second-air-conditioner prep with 50-amp service is a dual-axle Prowler option — the upgrade hot-climate families should price.

1,570 pounds of margin

Generous for the size, but eight sleepers plus a filled 52-gallon fresh tank (about 430 pounds) spend it — weigh loaded.

MSRP vs street

The $26,093 factory Base MSRP is the published anchor; RVUSA records run a few hundred dollars stale and dealer street pricing typically runs lower. Confirm with a dealer.
