01 What makes it unique
Keystone publishes three weights for the Bullet Classic 16RBC: a shipping weight of 2,995 lb, a carrying capacity of 1,005 lb and a hitch weight of 320 lb. Those are Keystone’s own terms, and this page keeps them. Keystone does not call the first figure dry or unloaded weight, does not say the hitch figure is measured dry, and publishes no GVWR for any Bullet Classic floorplan, so none of the three is renamed here and no loaded rating is worked out from them. The trailer’s own federal weight label, inside the door, is the document that carries its UVW, cargo capacity and GVWR.
Tank capacities are 21 gal fresh, 34 gal gray and 34 gal waste, as Keystone lists them. Fresh water weighs about 8.3 lb per US gallon, so a full fresh tank is roughly 174 lb on the road before anything else is loaded. The tire size Keystone lists is ST215/75R14D.
Against the 8 Bullet Classic floorplans profiled here, this one is the 1st by Keystone’s shipping weight, in a range from 2,995 lb (16RBC) to 5,816 lb (28QBC). Every figure in that comparison comes from the same Keystone page type for the same model year, so the comparison inside the series is like for like.
Every number on this page was read on 19 Oct 2026 from Keystone’s own floorplan page for the Bullet Classic 16RBC. That page carries no model year, so the year comes from the roster page that links it, which lists the Bullet Classic floorplans under the heading “2027 Floorplans”. Keystone notes that its website reflects the most recent production run and that features and specifications change during the year.
How the 16RBC differs from the other seven Bullet Classic floorplans. Most distinctive first. Each rank counts only the siblings that publish that field, and a figure most of them share is left out.
- Shipping weight (Keystone’s term), 2,995 lb: lightest of eight; next is the 16BHC (3,010 lb).
- Hitch weight as Keystone lists it, 320 lb: second-lightest of eight, between the 16BHC (315 lb) and the 19RDC (430 lb).
- Hitch weight as a share of shipping weight, 10.7%: second-smallest of eight, between the 16BHC (10.5%) and the 26BHC (11.3%).
- Length, 20 ft 5 in: second-shortest of eight, between the 16BHC (20 ft 2 in) and the 19RDC (21 ft 11 in).
- Carrying capacity (Keystone’s term), 1,005 lb: third-smallest of eight, between the 16BHC (990 lb) and the 26BHC (2,210 lb).
- Exterior height, 10 ft 4 in: lowest of eight, level with the 16BHC and 19RDC; next are the 18RBC, 21BHC and two others (10 ft 9 in).
- Fresh tank, 21 gal: smallest of eight, level with the 16BHC and 19RDC; next are the 18RBC, 21BHC and three others (45 gal).
- Sleeping capacity, 4: smallest of eight, level with the 18RBC, 19RDC and 21RKC; next are the 16BHC and 21BHC (6).
Next to the 16BHC, the nearest heavier floorplan by shipping weight, the 16RBC is 15 lb lighter by shipping weight, has 15 lb more carrying capacity, has a hitch weight 5 lb heavier, is 3 in longer and sleeps two fewer; the two publish the same exterior height, fresh tank and grey tank.

04 Notes on this floorplan
What Keystone does not publish for the Bullet Classic
No GVWR, no unloaded (dry) weight under that name, no dry hitch weight and no exterior width appear on Keystone’s floorplan pages for this series, so those rows read as not published. Nothing is filled from a sibling floorplan, a different model year or a dealer listing.
Read the label on the trailer
Federal rules put a load-carrying label inside every RV trailer: its unloaded weight with full propane, its cargo carrying capacity and its GVWR (49 CFR 571.110 and 571.120). On a Bullet Classic those figures come from the trailer, not from this page, and they govern the towing decision.
05 How it compares
3,010 lb shipping weight and 990 lb carrying capacity, against this plan’s 2,995 lb and 1,005 lb.
07 Where this floorplan sits

11 NHTSA safety record
NHTSA holds 20 recall campaigns and 27 owner complaints against the Bullet line. They are counted separately: a recall is a confirmed defect with a remedy, a complaint one owner’s unverified account.
What to look at on a used one. Across the 27 complaints filed on this line the most-reported components are structure (19%), electrical system (15%) and suspension (15%).
Recall coverage here is not complete, and complaints are owners’ unverified reports (how this record is built). Check a specific VIN at NHTSA before you buy. Full tables are on the Bullet line page.
