01 What makes it unique

The Salem Cruise Lite 25ICE is a front-bedroom couples' coach from the value twins' ICE series — a comfortable open layout for two with room for a few more. The front is a private bedroom with a custom king bed and Versa-Tilt and dual wardrobes; a large living-area slide carries the Versa-Lounge and a booth dinette that convert for extra sleepers, pushing nominal capacity to four or five; and a hidden pantry with shelves sits behind a mirror-front electric fireplace. The rear is a full bathroom with a tub/shower and counter space, and a galley with a cooktop and microwave handles cooking. Its twin is the Wildwood X-Lite 25ICE.

It carries the full Cruise Lite value-laminate build — a powder-coated I-beam steel frame, two-inch laminated sidewalls, a walk-on Tufflex™ PVC roof and an enclosed Accessibelly underbelly — with a 60,000-BTU tankless water heater, a 13,500-BTU air conditioner and a 16-foot power awning standard. The retro/metal exterior redesign, JBL stereo, stylish roller shades and updated backsplash come with the current model year. Note that the ICE series does not offer the Platinum solar package, so a 200-watt solar panel is the standalone option for off-hookup nights.

At 6,178 pounds dry against a 7,700-pound GVWR it leaves roughly 1,522 pounds of cargo capacity — comfortable for two — and it tows easily behind a half-ton truck. The factory record does not break out the refrigerator's cubic footage on this plan, so it is flagged. For couples who want a real private bedroom, a fireplace lounge and a full rear bath in a light, value-tier trailer — with the identical Wildwood to shop against — the 25ICE is the value twins' compact front-bedroom couples' coach.

03 Salem & Wildwood floorplan family

Forest River's Salem and Wildwood are near-identical twin lines — the same trailers built on the same factory line, differing mainly in exterior graphics and interior décor. The volume laminate models are the Salem Cruise Lite and its twin the Wildwood X-Lite, which share an identical floorplan roster. The 25ICE on this page is highlighted; each other profiled plan links to its own page. Across both nameplates the family runs to dozens of floorplans; the highest-demand layouts are detailed here and the rest are catalogued on the line hub.

Every Salem Cruise Lite and Wildwood X-Lite travel trailer carries a powder-coated I-beam steel frame, two-inch laminated sidewalls, a walk-on Tufflex™ PVC roof and an enclosed Accessibelly underbelly; a 200-watt solar panel comes with the Platinum package. Lengths, weights and equipment change with options and model year — always confirm against the unit's own weight sticker. Additional Cruise Lite / X-Lite, FSX and Hemisphere floorplans are documented on the line hub.

04 What owners & reviewers report

A real private bedroom plus a rear bath

A front custom-king bedroom and a full rear bathroom bracket a fireplace lounge — the comfortable front-bedroom couples' layout in a light, sub-30-foot trailer.

Flexible Versa-Lounge for guests

The large slide carries the Versa-Lounge and booth dinette, both of which convert for one or two more sleepers — room for occasional guests beyond the couple.

ICE series: no Platinum package

Unlike the XL plans, the ICE series does not offer the Platinum fiberglass/solar package; a 200-watt solar panel is the standalone off-grid option.

Refrigerator size not published

The factory record does not break out the refrigerator's cubic footage on this plan; it is shown unverified and excluded from the completeness figure.
