01 What makes it unique
The 23FB is the entry to the International line and the only one built on the narrower 8-foot-wide body — the rest of the line is 8 ft 5.5 in. It puts a queen (or twins) up front, a U-shaped convertible dinette over the axles, and a three-piece bathroom that spans the full width of the rear, a layout owners consistently praise for its everyday usability. It sleeps six and is the lightest, most affordable way into the design-led International.
Even at the small end it carries the International's signature touches — a tankless on-demand LP water heater, a powered ZipDee awning, a standard rearview camera, DuPont Corian galley counters, and the coastal "silver sanctuary" decor of cool wood tones and seashore textures. It's the one plan that doesn't offer the rear hatch, the optional front bunk, or a second air conditioner; those are reserved for the larger bodies.
At 5,100 pounds dry against a 6,000-pound GVWR, the 23FB is genuinely tow-friendly — a properly equipped mid-size SUV or half-ton handles it comfortably. Starting MSRP is $121,400, which places it above the Flying Cloud 23FB but below the rest of the International range; the premium buys the elevated design and the powered and tankless hardware.

03 International floorplan family
The current International line — five dual-axle floorplans, each offered in queen or twin bedroom configurations. The 23FB on this page is highlighted; each other plan links to its own profile.
| Floorplan | Nominal | Bedroom | Sleeps | Notable |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 23FB | 23 ft | Front | 6 | Entry; rear full-width bath; 8' body |
| 25FB | 25 ft | Front | 6 | Wider body; rear hatch + bunk options |
| 27FB | 27 ft | Front | 6 | Most popular; biggest galley/storage |
| 28RB | 28 ft | Rear | 6 | Front lounge entry; rear bed |
| 30RB | 30 ft | Rear | 6 | Largest; most capacity; 50-amp |
The optional rear hatch and front cross-bunk are available only on the 25FB and 27FB. The International shares its floorplans with the Flying Cloud but adds elevated coastal design, a tankless water heater, and powered features.
04 What owners & reviewers report
Signature tankless water heater
Unlike the Flying Cloud's tank-style heater, the International uses an on-demand tankless LP water heater — continuous hot water without a reservoir.
Only the 8-foot-wide International
Every other plan in the line is the wider 8'5.5" body; the 23FB keeps the narrow body for easy towing and storage.
Full-width rear bath
The three-piece bathroom spans the rear wall — a favorite layout among owners of the smaller Airstreams.
Fewest options
No rear hatch, no front bunk, and no second A/C on the 23FB — those start at the 25FB.
05 How it compares
The same compact body in neutral decor with a manual awning and tank water heater — lighter on the wallet.
The wider 8'5.5" body with rear-hatch and front-bunk options and a roomier cabin.
A single-axle, lighter, far less expensive Airstream if the International's price is a stretch.
