International

Airstream's coastal, nature-inspired travel trailer — a "silver sanctuary" of cool wood tones and seashore textures. It shares the Flying Cloud's floorplans, elevated with premium design, a tankless water heater, and powered features, and sits beside the Globetrotter, above Flying Cloud and below the Classic.

01 What the International is

The International is Airstream's coastal-design travel trailer — the same dual-axle floorplans as the Flying Cloud, finished as a calm, nature-inspired retreat and equipped with a signature tankless water heater and powered hardware.

Airstream calls it a "silver sanctuary," and the decor follows: cool wood tones, clean modern lines, and natural seashore textures in the Seashell interior. Mechanically it shares the Flying Cloud's body and five floorplans, but elevates them — a tankless on-demand LP water heater in place of the Flying Cloud's tank heater, a powered ZipDee awning with Sunbrella fabric, a standard rearview monitoring camera, DuPont Corian galley counters, a Furrion range, and Ultraleather seating. The 25FB and 27FB add two standout options: a rear hatch that opens the back wall for al fresco dining or gear, and an optional front cross-bunk.

It sits beside the Globetrotter in Airstream's design tier — the International leaning American-coastal, the Globetrotter European — both above the standard-trim Flying Cloud and below the fully-loaded Classic, with the International generally priced a step under the Globetrotter. The line runs five floorplans, each in queen or twin form, all sleeping six. As with every Airstream, there are no slide-outs.

02 Choose your floorplan

Five layouts in the current (2025) line, each available in queen or twin configuration. Weights and lengths are factory figures; options (rear hatch, front bunk, second A/C, solar) add to them. Each plan links to its full profile.

Floorplan Length Dry (lb) GVWR (lb) Hitch (lb) Starting MSRP Best for
23FB 23'11"5,1006,000≈500*$121,400 Entry; rear full-width bath; 8' body
25FB 26'2"5,7007,300≈860*$133,900 Wider body; rear hatch + bunk options
27FB 28'2"6,0007,600850$142,400 Most popular; biggest galley/storage
28RB 28'2"5,9007,600≈860*$142,400 Rear bed; front lounge entry
30RB 31'2"6,6008,800≈900*$149,900 Largest; most capacity; 50-amp

All five profiles are live. *Hitch weights are verified for the 27FB (850 lb); other plans show an estimate from the shared Flying Cloud chassis pending model-specific confirmation, and per-plan tank capacities are being confirmed. MSRP is the official manufacturer starting price. The rear hatch and front bunk are 25FB/27FB only.

03 How the floorplans differ

The range splits between front-bed and rear-bed layouts. The 23FB is the entry — the only 8-foot-wide International, with a front bed and a full-width rear bath. The 25FB and 27FB move to the wider 8'5.5" body with front beds, mid-ship split baths, and the line's two signature options (the rear hatch and an optional front bunk); the 27FB simply adds galley counter, pantry, and wardrobe over the 25FB.

The rear-bed plans feel different. The 28RB opens its front door into an L-shaped lounge with the bedroom at the rear under panoramic windows — a calmer, residential layout at nearly the same length as the 27FB. The 30RB is the largest: a rear bedroom, a front booth dinette and Ultraleather sofa, the most cargo capacity in the line, and standard 50-amp service for dual A/C. All five stay dual-axle and share the coastal interior and the tankless water heater.

04 Model-year notes

The International nameplate is one of Airstream's longest-running. It was sold for years in two parallel trims — International Signature and International Serenity — which Airstream later consolidated into a single International line. A short rear-bath 25-foot plan also appeared in earlier catalogs before the lineup settled on the five floorplans above.

Verified specs for discontinued trims and plans are being pulled from prior-year records and will populate their profiles as they publish.
