01 What makes the 2023 295BHS different
The Jay Flight 295BHS is one of Jayco's Jay Flight travel trailers, the mass-market nameplate and the volume seller in Jayco's towable range. This page covers one model year of it — the 2023 295BHS, exactly as Jayco published it — because the numbers that decide whether your truck can pull this trailer are not the same from one year to the next. Jayco publishes it at 8' 0" wide closed and 11' 0" with the slide-outs run out for the 2023 model year, which is the measurement that matters for a site pitch as well as for the road.

A trailer cannot be no taller outside than it is inside: the floor, chassis and roof sit between the two. The same record prints 11′ 3″ as the exterior height with the air conditioner. We re-read the source and 6′ 9″ is the figure it prints as the exterior height. Measure the actual trailer before relying on its height for a bridge, garage or carport clearance.
