Weights, lengths, sleeping capacity, slide count and MSRP are from RVUSA structured specification records, one fetch per floorplan, 29 Jul 2026. † RVUSA omits the slide field entirely on zero-slide plans; the 0 shown for those seven is the figure published on RVUSA's own 2027 Jay Flight model index, which agrees with the individual plan record on all twenty-three plans that do carry the field. Cargo capacity is RVUSA's published payload figure. Tongue weight is not published here — the source carries hitch type (bumper pull, on all thirty) and no tongue weight, and nothing on this site is estimated to fill a column. Options change weights; confirm against the unit's own weight sticker before purchase. ‡ The 21 plans added 2 Aug 2026 are verified against Jayco’s own factory floorplan pages, not RVUSA. That source publishes no slide count and no MSRP, so those two cells are left empty for those rows rather than filled from an RVUSA sibling — an em dash here means the manufacturer does not publish the figure, never that it is zero. ‡ The 3 Jay Flight Bungalow rows added 2 Aug 2026 are a separate factory roster: destination trailers built for seasonal placement, not touring, and over forty feet long. They are verified against Jayco’s own MY2027 factory floorplan pages, which publish no slide count and no MSRP, so those cells are empty rather than filled from another source.

03 Where the sources disagree

On the ranges. Jayco publishes two different length ranges on one page — a structured spec block and a prose paragraph that disagree with each other. RVUSA's roster corroborates the spec block's maximum exactly (40' 4", the 380DQS) and contradicts the prose maximum. Its minimum matches neither. The two publishers may simply be measuring different things: exterior length against box length is a measurement difference, not an error by either. The same pattern appears in the weights, where the ceiling ties to the pound and the floor does not — consistent with Jayco's floor figure describing a plan that is not on RVUSA's 2027 roster.

On the price. Jayco advertises the line as starting at $17,468. The cheapest plan on the 2027 roster, the 175BH, lists at $22,643. The factory figure may predate the mandatory Customer Value and 25th Anniversary packages — but that is a guess, so both figures are published and attributed instead.

On the five missing plans. The 225MLS (bare — only the western 225MLSW is on the roster), 265BHS, 265TH, 270BHS and 382FRK are all named in Jayco's own 2027 standard- and optional-equipment copy, and none appears on RVUSA's 2027 roster. Either the roster is incomplete or the equipment copy carries model numbers forward from a previous year — the same suspicion the prose length range raises. Neither reading is evidenced, so all five are treated as unconfirmed for 2027 and are not listed above. Checked 29 Jul 2026 against MY2027.

04 Where it sits in Jayco's range

Reading the SLX split. For the 2026 model year Jayco sold the value range as a single Jay Flight SLX line, and this site's six 2026 SLX floorplan pages are records of that year — they remain correct and are not superseded by this page. For 2027 the flagship nameplate returned as Jay Flight and SLX continues alongside it: 2027 SLX units are in dealer inventory under 295TBS, 261BHS, 197MB and 170BH. RVUSA lists Jay Flight model years 2027, 2025, 2024 and 2023 with no 2026 entry, which is consistent with 2026 having been sold under the SLX name. Checked 29 Jul 2026 against MY2027.

NHTSA lists 25 recall campaigns affecting this line. The earliest was reported 19 Apr 2006 and the most recent 14 Oct 2022.

Coverage is not complete, and this matters. These campaigns come from two passes over NHTSA’s public record: a query-by-query harvest of the recall API (1,556 queries, of which 0 failed and 242 returned an explicit zero), and a sweep of NHTSA’s complete recall flat file (325,650 rows), which added 46 campaigns the API harvest had missed. It missed them because the roster it worked from was built by a catalog endpoint that refuses most requests, so entire manufacturer names were never asked about — NHTSA files several Forest River sub-brands as makes of their own. Two limits remain: NHTSA sometimes files a roster under a parent name, and some matches below rest on the wording of the recall rather than its model field. Campaigns affecting only pre-2005 units fall outside this catalog’s range and are not listed. This page is a starting point, not a clearance. Check a specific VIN at NHTSA before you buy, and again before you tow.
