01 What makes it unique
The Micro Minnie 2108FBS takes the popular front-bed couples' layout and adds a slide-out, and the difference inside is real: with the dinette pushed outboard, the main living area opens up well beyond what the no-slide 2000-series can offer in the same length. A front bed sits up front with wardrobes, a full bath spans the rear, and the slide carries the dinette — the formula that makes a 22-foot trailer feel considerably larger when parked.
The build is the standard Micro Minnie platform — NXG engineered steel frame, 1.5-inch FilonMax fiberglass over Azdel composite, a one-piece walkable TPO roof, Dexter TORFLEX torsion axles, enclosed heated underbelly — with the usual 10-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator, 13,500-BTU air conditioner and 60,000-BTU tankless water heater. The 31-gallon fresh tank with 25/25 gray and black tanks carries over, and an exterior Pack-N-Play storage area adds gear room.
The slide costs weight and payload — at 4,142 pounds dry the 2108FBS is heavier than the no-slide front-bed 2000FRB, and at 1,358 pounds of payload the margin is tighter. But for couples who want the open daytime floor a slide brings, in a trailer that still tows light behind a half-ton or capable SUV, the 2108FBS is the natural step up, at an MSRP in the mid-$40,000s. Note that Winnebago's 2026 brochure lists this plan heavier, at 4,344 pounds dry.

03 Micro Minnie floorplan family
Winnebago's Micro Minnie line — a thirteen-floorplan range of genuinely light, 7-foot-wide travel trailers built to slip down narrow trails and tuck into tight sites, every one of them rated to a 5,500-pound GVWR. The 2108FBS on this page is highlighted; each profiled plan links to its own page, and the remaining layouts are catalogued on the line hub.

Every Micro Minnie shares the same 5,500-pound GVWR, 7-foot exterior width (the 2000MRB is the wide-body exception at 7′8″), 10-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator, 13,500-BTU air conditioner and tandem 3,000-pound torsion axles — floorplans differ in length, bed layout and whether they carry a slide. Dry weights lead with the RVUSA structured records; Winnebago's 2026 brochure lists a slightly heavier dry weight on the carryover plans, noted on each page. Always confirm against the unit's weight sticker before towing.
04 What owners & reviewers report
The slide opens the floor
Pushing the dinette outboard makes the 22-foot cabin feel markedly larger than the no-slide front-bed 2000FRB when parked.
Conventional front-bed comfort
A front bed with wardrobes plus a full rear bath gives a couple a complete, familiar layout.
Still half-ton-friendly
At 4,142 lb dry with a 404-lb tongue weight, the added slide doesn't push it out of comfortable half-ton or SUV towing.
Brochure dry weight runs heavier
Winnebago's 2026 brochure lists the 2108FBS at 4,344 lb dry vs the 4,142-lb RVUSA structured figure shown here; weigh the loaded unit before towing.
05 How it compares
The no-slide front-bed sibling — lighter and simpler, with less daytime floor.
The twin-bed slide plan — twins with a king conversion instead of a single front bed.
The Murphy-bed slide plan (RVUSA labels it 2180DS) — a fold-away bed in the same slide footprint.
