01 What makes the 2025 340CKTS different

The North Point 340CKTS is one of Jayco's North Point luxury full-profile fifth wheels, positioned just below the flagship Pinnacle and above the Eagle fifth wheels. This page covers one model year of it — the 2025 340CKTS, exactly as Jayco published it — because the numbers that decide whether your truck can pull this trailer are not the same from one year to the next. Jayco publishes it at 8' 6" wide closed and 14' 6" with the slide-outs run out for the 2025 model year, which is the measurement that matters for a site pitch as well as for the road.

For the 2025 model year Jayco published a 17,000-pound GVWR on a 13,880-pound dry weight, 3,120 pounds of published cargo capacity, a 2,475-pound dry pin weight. Check the loaded pin against the truck's payload and rear-axle ratings rather than against the tow rating alone. The 2025 coach left the factory on 215/75R17.5'H' tyres; the load range in that code is part of the axle rating and a replacement set has to match it.

Against the 2024 build of the same floorplan, 8 published fields moved. The full comparison is in section 02, and it is drawn from two separate verified factory records rather than from one record and an assumption about the other.

A 2025 coach is close to current as of 2026, but section 05 still applies: check it against its build date rather than its model year. Jayco commonly builds a model year well before the calendar year turns, and the tyre date codes have to be read against the build month, not the badge.

How the 340CKTS differs from the other thirteen North Point floorplans. Most distinctive first. Sibling pages may cover other model years than this one (2022–2025). How these ranks are worked out.

  • Dry pin weight, 2,475 lb: lightest of fourteen; next is the 310RLTS (2,510 lb).
  • Dry pin weight as a share of dry weight, 17.8%: smallest of fourteen; next is the 377RLBH (18%).
  • Dry weight, 13,880 lb: second-lightest of fourteen, between the 310RLTS (13,375 lb) and the 365RKTS (14,505 lb).
  • GVWR, 17,000 lb: second-lowest of fourteen, between the 310RLTS (16,000 lb) and the 365RKTS (17,300 lb).
  • Cargo capacity as a share of GVWR, 18.4%: second-largest of fourteen, between the 361RLBH (18%) and the 380FBRK (18.6%).
  • Length, 37 ft 10 in: second-shortest of eight, between the 310RLTS (36 ft) and the 365RKTS (40 ft 5 in).
  • Cargo capacity, 3,120 lb: seventh-largest of fourteen, between the 395DSDB (2,875 lb) and the 383FLRB (3,160 lb).
  • Black tank, 50 gal: smallest of fourteen, level with the 310RLTS, 361RLBH and three others; next is the 382FLRB (74 gal).
  • Sleeping capacity, 4: smallest of fourteen, level with the 310RLTS, 365RKTS and three others; next are the 361RLBH and 383FLRB (6).
  • Exterior height, 12 ft 8 in: shared with the 375TBDB, 382FLRB and 391TBBH; of fourteen, five lower and five taller, nearest the 310RLTS, 361RLBH and three others (12 ft 6 in) and the 390CKDS (12 ft 10 in).

Next to the 310RLTS (2021–2027 page), the nearest lighter floorplan by dry weight, the 340CKTS is 505 lb heavier by dry weight, has a GVWR 1,000 lb higher, has 495 lb more cargo capacity, has a dry pin weight 35 lb lighter, is 1 ft 10 in longer and stands 2 in taller; the two publish the same fresh tank, grey tank, black tank and sleeping capacity.

Next to the 365RKTS (2025–2027 page), the nearest heavier floorplan by dry weight, the 340CKTS is 625 lb lighter by dry weight, has a GVWR 300 lb lower, has 325 lb more cargo capacity, has a dry pin weight 220 lb lighter, is 2 ft 7 in shorter and stands 8 in lower; the two publish the same fresh tank, grey tank, black tank and sleeping capacity.

Specifications by model year

This floorplan has a published factory record for 4 model years here, 2022 to 2025. The specification does not hold still: GVWR runs from 15,750 lb (2022) to 17,000 lb (2025); dry weight runs from 12,810 lb (2023) to 13,880 lb (2025); dry pin weight runs from 2,130 lb (2023) to 2,635 lb (2022). The published tire size changes over the run (ST255/85R16'E', then 215/75R17.5'H'). The published sleeping capacity changes across the years: 3-4 in 2022, up to 6 in 2023, up to 5 in 2024, up to 4 in 2025. Each year’s complete record is printed separately below, carrying only that year’s own published figures and source. Nothing is copied across from a neighbouring year.

Every row is that model year’s own record from Jayco’s model page or factory brochure for that year, as the source line for each year names. The figures in the tow-critical placard at the top of this page are the 2025 record from the source this catalogue originally profiled. On the weights, overall length and tire size, that record and Jayco’s own 2025 model page agree on every field both of them publish. Exterior height is not compared: Jayco publishes a bare height, a with-A/C height and a with-2nd-A/C height, and the single height row carried here cannot be matched to one of them, so no claim is made either way.

What changed for the 2022 model year

2022 is the earliest model year of the 340CKTS on this site, so there is no earlier record to set it against. Section 01 compares it with 2023.

Source for 2022. Specifications reflect the 2022 model year as published by Jayco on its own 2022 factory brochure for this product line, and are dry factory figures for a base unit. Options, dealer-installed equipment and cargo all add weight. A fifth wheel puts its pin load through the tow vehicle's rear axle, so the loaded pin must be checked against the truck's payload, rear-axle and hitch ratings, not against its tow rating. Dry weight plus cargo capacity ties out exactly to the published GVWR for this model year. CamperTrailers.com publishes verified manufacturer data and is not affiliated with Jayco, Inc.

GVWR changed for 2025

GVWR was 16,225 for 2024 and is 17,000 for 2025 (+775 lb). Both figures are the manufacturer's own for their year.

Dry pin weight changed for 2025

Dry pin weight was 2,445 for 2024 and is 2,475 for 2025 (+30 lb). Both figures are the manufacturer's own for their year.

Sleeps changed for 2025

Sleeps was up to 5 for 2024 and is up to 4 for 2025. Both figures are the manufacturer's own for their year.

Where these numbers come from

Every figure on this page is read from Jayco's own 2025 model page for the 340CKTS — one source, one model year, no blending. The all-years parent page sets this year beside every other model year we hold, and where the record this catalogue originally profiled disagrees with Jayco's own model page, both figures are published there and neither is adjusted.

Fields Jayco does not publish for 2025

For this model year the factory record omits: Propane Unit (lbs) (Optional), Water Heater, Furnace, Auto-ignition (BTU output). Those rows read “Not published” on this page. They are deliberately not filled in from an adjacent model year — a neighbouring year's figure is an inference about this one, not a measurement of it.

04 Buying a 2025 340CKTS at 1 model years old

Tyres are the first thing to age out

RV tyres are usually replaced on age rather than tread, at roughly five to seven years from the DOT date code on the sidewall. On a 1-year-old coach the originals (215/75R17.5'H') may still be fitted — read the four-digit date code, not the tread.

Roof and seam sealant is on a service interval

Laminated-wall fifth wheels rely on sealant at every roof penetration and along the front cap. Inspection is typically annual and re-sealing every few years; ask for the service records rather than assuming.

Weigh it before you tow it

Every weight on this page is a DRY factory figure for the 2025 model year. A used coach carries its previous owner's additions, and a fifth wheel puts roughly 15-25% of the load through the truck's rear axle. Weigh the loaded rig at a public scale and check it against the truck's payload, rear-axle and hitch ratings.

06 Loading it for a trip

A full 75-gallon fresh tank is about 622 lb of water (water counts as cargo: 49 CFR 571.120 S10.4.2), 20% of the 340CKTS’s 3,120 lb cargo capacity, leaving 2,498 lb (624 lb per rated berth). Across 14 North Point floorplans the water share runs 18% to 25%, and 7 give up more than this one. Nearest on that share: North Point 383FLRB at 20% and North Point 395DSDB at 22%. Your own unit’s figure is on the label inside its entry door (49 CFR 571.120 S10.4.3).
