2026 WinnebagoMinnie 2500FL

The one front-living-room floorplan in the Minnie line — the lounge rides up front where most plans put the bedroom, a dinette slide opens the middle, and a private queen bedroom takes the rear. Dual entry, dealer stock only.

01 What makes it unique

The Minnie 2500FL inverts the line's usual architecture. Every other 2026 Minnie puts the bed at one end and the living space in the middle; the 2500FL puts the living room up front — the social heart of the trailer in the brightest, widest part of the body — runs a dinette out on the slide amidships, and reserves the rear for a private queen bedroom. Front-living layouts are common in big fifth wheels and rare in sub-30-foot travel trailers, which makes this plan a genuine outlier in its class, and its second entry door serves the bedroom end so a late sleeper and an early riser stay out of each other's way.

The platform is the standard Minnie build — NXG engineered steel frame, 1.5-inch fiberglass over Azdel Onboard composite, one-piece walkable TPO roof, gel-coat front cap, tandem 4,400-pound EZ-lube axles matching the published 8,800-pound GVWR — with the 10-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator, 15,000-BTU ducted air conditioner, 30,000-BTU furnace and 200-watt solar standard. One tank-set quirk is worth knowing: the 2500FL runs slightly smaller 47-gallon grey and black tanks (the rest of the line uses 49s), with no second grey tank fitted.

The front-living geometry has a physical consequence: with the lounge's mass ahead of the axles, the 2500FL posts an 874-pound dry tongue weight — second-highest in the line and more than double the entry 2326RB's — so match it to a tow vehicle with genuine payload headroom. It is also a dealer-stock-only floorplan, ordered by dealers rather than built to retail order. For couples who host — where the trailer is the gathering place and the bedroom is a retreat — nothing else in the line is arranged like it.

03 Minnie floorplan family

Winnebago's Minnie line — a ten-floorplan range of 8-foot wide-body travel trailers that step up from the 7-foot Micro Minnie in width, length and capacity, every one of them rated to an 8,800-pound GVWR. The 2500FL on this page is highlighted; every 2026 plan links to its own profiled page.

Every Minnie shares the same 8,800-pound GVWR, 8-foot exterior width, 10-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator, 15,000-BTU ducted air conditioner and tandem 4,400-pound EZ-lube axles — floorplans differ in length, bed and galley placement, slide count and whether a second grey tank is fitted. All figures are RVUSA structured records cross-checked against Winnebago's factory specification table, which agrees exactly. Always confirm against the unit's weight sticker before towing.

04 What owners & reviewers report

The only front-living Minnie

The lounge rides up front where every other plan puts the bed — a fifth-wheel-style social layout in a 28-foot bumper-pull.

A real private bedroom

The rear queen sits behind the galley with its own entry door nearby — genuine separation between the living and sleeping ends.

Watch the tongue weight

Front-living geometry puts mass ahead of the axles: at 874 lb of dry tongue weight — second-highest in the line — this plan asks more of the tow vehicle's payload than its 6,432-lb dry weight suggests.

Dealer stock only, smaller tanks

Built to dealer order rather than retail order, and fitted with the line's smaller 47-gallon grey and black tanks with no second grey — plan dump stops accordingly on long stays.
