2026 WinnebagoMinnie 2730FK

The only two-slide floorplan in the Minnie line — a front-corner galley, a tri-fold-sofa slide opening a genuinely spacious living area, a second slide carrying the private sleep suite, and a rear bathroom. The heaviest Minnie, with the line's tightest payload.

01 What makes it unique

The Minnie 2730FK is the only floorplan in the 2026 line with two slide-outs, and it spends them well: one carries a tri-fold sofa that opens the central living area into the most spacious lounge in the range, and the other extends the private sleep suite, giving the bedroom walk-around room no single-slide Minnie can match. The galley tucks into the front corner — an arrangement that frees the midship walls for living space — and a full bathroom spans the rear.

It rides on the standard Minnie platform: NXG engineered steel frame, 1.5-inch fiberglass over Azdel Onboard composite, one-piece walkable TPO roof, gel-coat fiberglass front cap, and tandem 4,400-pound EZ-lube axles whose published pair equals the 8,800-pound GVWR exactly. The 10-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator, 15,000-BTU ducted air conditioner, 30,000-BTU furnace and 200-watt solar package are standard, and a factory-fitted second 49-gallon grey tank lifts grey capacity to 98 gallons.

The second slide is also the plan's arithmetic problem: at 7,082 pounds dry the 2730FK is the heaviest trailer in the line, and against the shared 8,800-pound GVWR that leaves just 1,718 pounds of payload — the tightest margin of any 2026 Minnie, with an 880-pound tongue weight that is second only to the 2832FK's. Fill the 60-gallon fresh tank (roughly 500 pounds) and most of the margin is spoken for. Weigh the loaded rig, and match it to a tow vehicle with real payload headroom. For a couple who want the roomiest Minnie living area and a private suite, and who load with discipline, nothing else in the line lives this large.

03 Minnie floorplan family

Winnebago's Minnie line — a ten-floorplan range of 8-foot wide-body travel trailers that step up from the 7-foot Micro Minnie in width, length and capacity, every one of them rated to an 8,800-pound GVWR. The 2730FK on this page is highlighted; every 2026 plan links to its own profiled page.

Every Minnie shares the same 8,800-pound GVWR, 8-foot exterior width, 10-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator, 15,000-BTU ducted air conditioner and tandem 4,400-pound EZ-lube axles — floorplans differ in length, bed and galley placement, slide count and whether a second grey tank is fitted. All figures are RVUSA structured records cross-checked against Winnebago's factory specification table, which agrees exactly. Always confirm against the unit's weight sticker before towing.

04 What owners & reviewers report

The only two-slide Minnie

A living-area slide plus a bedroom slide open more interior volume than any other plan in the line — the 2730FK's whole argument.

A genuinely private suite

The sleep suite rides its own slide, gaining walk-around space and separation the single-slide plans can't offer.

Tightest payload in the line

At 7,082 lb dry, only 1,718 lb of payload remains — a full fresh tank alone claims ~500 lb. Load with discipline and weigh the rig.

Heavy on the hitch

An 880-lb dry tongue weight asks real payload of the tow vehicle — check the door-jamb placard math before falling for the floorplan.
