01 What makes it unique
The No Boundaries NB20.6 is the largest and heaviest travel trailer in the line, a full-size rear-kitchen coach built around the Trailgate outdoor bar. Enter through the front master bedroom and you find a queen bed with dual wardrobes and a private entrance into the walk-through bath. That bath opens to a main living area made spacious by a large slide carrying theater seating, a refrigerator, a pantry and a hutch. The rear kitchen runs across the back; you can dine at the Bar 2 Table pull-out dinette in front of a flip-up window, and just outside that window sits the Trailgate Outdoor Bar — a fold-out counter that creates a food-truck atmosphere, so the cook can serve and visit with people sitting at the dinette inside. A standard outdoor kitchen adds a second exterior station. As a residential couples’ layout with theater seating rather than convertible berths, nominal capacity is two.
At 6,563 pounds unloaded and 29 feet 9 inches, the NB20.6 is the heaviest No Boundaries plan and a tow for a capable half-ton or larger truck. A published 8,063-pound GVWR leaves 1,500 pounds of cargo capacity. Forest River publishes that GVWR directly (it equals the 6,563-pound unloaded weight plus the 1,500-pound cargo capacity exactly). It carries the line’s biggest grey tank — 60 gallons — alongside a 40-gallon fresh and a 30-gallon black, useful for a rear-kitchen plan that generates a lot of grey water, and rides on a tandem axle. Standard equipment is the mandatory C-Series package: a 12V refrigerator, an air-fryer microwave, a 15,000-BTU air conditioner, an on-demand tankless water heater, a 200-watt solar panel with a 30-amp controller and inverter prep, a central vacuum, a power tongue jack and all-terrain tires with TPMS, plus the line’s longest 21-foot electric awning.
Construction is the No Boundaries laminate recipe — Azdel composite panels over an aluminum frame, a block-foam-insulated aluminum floor, a sealed and heated underbelly with a radiant foil barrier and 12V tank pads, and a fiberglass front cap with LED lighting — the same construction tier as Forest River’s r·pod and a step above the metal-sided value lines. An optional Beast Mode package adds an independent suspension, 400 watts of solar and a 2,000-watt inverter. For a couple that entertains and wants the full-size version of the Trailgate layout — a private master, theater seating, a rear kitchen and the biggest tanks and awning in the line — the NB20.6 is the top rear-kitchen coach in the No Boundaries range.

Every No Boundaries plan uses superior laminated construction featuring Azdel composite panels over an aluminum frame, with an aluminum-framed floor, block-foam insulation, a sealed and heated underbelly with a radiant foil barrier and 12V tank pads, and a fiberglass front cap with LED lighting — the same construction tier as Forest River’s r·pod, a step above the metal-sided stick-and-tin value lines. The identity is rugged and adventure-focused rather than aerodynamic: every plan ships with the mandatory C-Series package (a 12V refrigerator, an air-fryer microwave, a 15,000-BTU air conditioner, an on-demand tankless water heater, seamless Surf(X) countertops, a 200-watt solar panel with a 30-amp controller and inverter prep, a central vacuum, a power tongue jack, an electric awning with an LED strip, black-glass entry doors, all-terrain tires with TPMS and a standard outdoor kitchen). An optional Beast Mode package adds an independent suspension, a second 200-watt solar panel (400 watts total), a 2,000-watt inverter, a fresh-water filter and a Maxxair vent cover. Lengths, weights and equipment change with options and model year — always confirm against the unit’s own weight sticker. Additional No Boundaries floorplans are catalogued on the line hub.
04 What owners & reviewers report
A front master and a full-size rear kitchen
The front is a private master bedroom with dual wardrobes and a private entrance into the walk-through bath, and the kitchen runs across the rear — a residential, full-size version of the rear-kitchen layout, with theater seating in the large living slide.
The signature Trailgate Outdoor Bar
A fold-out bar counter outside the rear flip-up window creates a food-truck-style serving space, so the cook can pass food and drinks to people at the inside dinette or the campsite — the standout entertaining feature, paired with the standard outdoor kitchen.
The biggest grey tank and longest awning in the line
A 60-gallon grey tank — the largest of any No Boundaries plan — suits a rear-kitchen layout, and the 21-foot electric awning ties for the longest in the line.
GVWR is published directly
Forest River lists an 8,063-lb GVWR for this plan (equal to unloaded weight plus cargo capacity), so no derivation is needed — a complete factory weight record.
The heaviest tow in the line
At 6,563 lb unloaded and 30 feet, this is the heaviest No Boundaries plan — it needs a capable half-ton or larger truck; confirm your tow and tongue ratings and use weight distribution. The tandem axle tows steadily.
A residential couples’ layout — sleeps two
With theater seating rather than convertible berths, this plan sleeps two as built; some dealers list it within the line’s 2–4 range counting an optional convertible. The figure shown is the as-built couples’ capacity.
Selling price runs below the placard
Dealer MSRP placards run into the low- to mid-$60,000s while selling prices commonly land near $38,000–$41,000 (Beast Mode and out-the-door figures vary); the figure shown is dealer-typical selling and is flagged.
05 How it compares
A lighter 25-foot version of this rear-kitchen Trailgate layout — the same front-bedroom-and-rear-kitchen idea with the Trailgate bar in a smaller, lower-priced body for an easier tow.
A 29-foot front-bedroom plan at a similar size — a tri-fold living slide instead of the rear kitchen and Trailgate bar, a little lighter on the axle.
The largest plan at 33 feet — a separate front bedroom plus rear double bunks for a full family bunkhouse sleeping eight, where this plan stays a residential couples’ coach.
