01 What makes it unique
The Access 25ML spends its slide on living space: a front queen bedroom, then a large slide-out that carries twin theater seating (an optional sofa takes its place) opposite a multi-function dinette, with the kitchen along the rear wall. The result is the most open main room in the shorter half of the line, drawn for couples who entertain.
Here the build steps up to the tandem package — NXG engineered steel frame, Tuff-Coat metal exterior, one-piece TPO roof, enclosed radiant-foil underbelly, tandem 4,400-pound axles on 15-inch Load Range E tires, a 13,500-BTU ducted air conditioner, a 30,000-BTU furnace, a 60,000-BTU tankless water heater and a 10-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator — with a 60-gallon fresh tank and a 2-inch accessory receiver. Dry weight plus payload equals the 8,800-pound GVWR exactly.
At 6,472 pounds dry with 2,328 pounds of payload and a 794-pound tongue, the 25ML tows behind a well-equipped half-ton and, at an MSRP in the mid-$30,000s, sits near the bottom of the tandem plans. For a couple who want a genuinely open living area, a rear kitchen and the tandem comforts — ducted air, tankless hot water, the outdoor-ready systems — without the length or price of the big bunkhouses, the 25ML is the value entertainer.

The Access splits into two build classes. The four single-axle plans (15- and 18-series) are rated to a 5,100-pound GVWR on one 5,100-pound axle, with an 8,000-BTU roof A/C, an 18,000-BTU furnace and a 6-gallon DSI water heater. The ten tandem plans carry an 8,800-pound GVWR on 4,400-pound axles — the 32BR uniquely on 5,200-pound axles for 10,400 pounds — and add a 13,500-BTU ducted A/C, a 30,000-BTU furnace, a 60,000-BTU tankless water heater, a 10-cubic-foot refrigerator and a 2-inch accessory receiver. On every plan the published dry weight plus payload equals the GVWR exactly. Figures are RVUSA structured records cross-checked against Winnebago's factory specification table; tongue weights, awning lengths, axle ratings and dual-grey-tank capacities are factory figures. Always confirm against the unit's weight sticker before towing.
04 What owners & reviewers report
The most open room in the short plans
Twin theater seating and a multi-function dinette on a big slide make the 25ML's main area the roomiest of the sub-30-foot plans.
Tandem comforts at a value price
Ducted 13,500-BTU air, a 60,000-BTU tankless water heater and a 10-cubic-foot fridge for a mid-$30,000s MSRP.
A rear kitchen
The galley along the back wall frees the mid-body for the living slide — more counter than a mid-trailer galley.
A couples' plan
Five berths count the convertible seating; families wanting bunks should look at the 26BH or 30BH.
05 How it compares
The single-axle rear-kitchen plan — lighter and cheaper, for a smaller tow vehicle.
The other rear-living couples' plan — a full bath, pass-through storage and dual entry.
The laminated mid-lightweight rival — compare living-area space, payload and build.
