01 What makes it unique
Alliance RV’s 2026 Avenue brochure prints a dry weight of 10,150 lb and a GVWR of 11,995 lb for the 30BH, with a pin weight of 1,600 lb. The brochure prints no cargo carrying capacity, so none is shown here, and none is worked out by subtracting one published figure from the other. The trailer’s own federal weight label, inside the door, carries its cargo capacity as built.
Alliance lists it under Avenue’s All-Access fifth wheels in that brochure, at 34' 9" long, with 48 gal fresh, 106 gal grey and 53 gal black tanks. Fresh water weighs about 8.3 lb per US gallon, so a full fresh tank adds roughly 398 lb before anything else is loaded.
Among the 12 Avenue floorplans whose dry weight Alliance’s 2026 brochure prints, it is number 6 by dry weight, in a range from 7,800 lb to 13,400 lb. Every figure in that comparison comes from the same brochure, for the same model year.
Every number on this page is read from Alliance RV’s 2026 Avenue brochure (marked “New for 2026”, print date 19 September 2025). Alliance does not print exterior height or width, sleeping capacity or tire size against this floorplan there, so those rows read as not published.
How the 30BH differs from the other ten Avenue fifth wheels. Most distinctive first. How these ranks are worked out.
- Pin weight as a share of dry weight, 15.8%: fourth-smallest of ten, between the 25RL and 29RL (15.5%) and the 26RD (17.3%).
- Dry weight, 10,150 lb: fifth-lightest of ten, between the 29RL (9,650 lb) and the 33RKS (10,730 lb).
- GVWR, 11,995 lb: fifth-lowest of ten, between the 29RL (11,895 lb) and the 32RLS and 33RKS (13,995 lb).
- Pin weight, 1,600 lb: fifth-lightest of ten, between the 29RL (1,500 lb) and the 32RLS (2,000 lb).
- Length, 34 ft 9 in: fifth-longest of ten, between the 33RKS (34 ft 5 in) and the 32RLS (34 ft 11 in).
- Fresh tank, 48 gal: smallest of ten, level with the 23ML, 25RL and two others; next are the 32RLS, 33RKS and three others (98 gal).
Next to the 29RL, the nearest lighter floorplan by dry weight, the 30BH is 500 lb heavier by dry weight, has a GVWR 100 lb higher, has a pin weight 100 lb heavier and is 1 ft 10 in longer; the two publish the same fresh tank, grey tank and black tank.
Next to the 33RKS, the nearest heavier floorplan by dry weight, the 30BH is 580 lb lighter by dry weight, has a GVWR 2,000 lb lower, has a pin weight 580 lb lighter, is 4 in longer and has a fresh tank 50 gal smaller; the two publish the same grey tank and black tank.

Towing it
Check your vehicle. Enter the ratings from your owner’s manual and the door-pillar placard.
Compares your figures with this page’s published GVWR (11,995 lb) and the upper loaded pin estimate (2,999 lb, a rule of thumb). Your vehicle’s placard and the trailer’s own weight label govern.
Loaded range: 15–25% of GVWR on the pin, a rule of thumb, not a measurement of this unit. No truck ratings or hitch classes (why; NHTSA, DOT HS 809 433).
03 The Avenue floorplan family

04 Notes on this floorplan
What Alliance RV does not publish for the 30BH
No cargo carrying capacity, exterior height or width, sleeping capacity or tire size is printed against this floorplan in Alliance’s 2026 brochure, so those rows read as not published. Nothing is filled from a sibling floorplan, a different model year or a dealer listing.
Read the label on the trailer
Federal rules put a load-carrying label inside every RV trailer: its unloaded weight with full propane, its cargo carrying capacity and its GVWR (49 CFR 571.110 and 571.120). Those figures come from the trailer itself and govern the towing decision.
05 How it compares

11 NHTSA safety record
NHTSA holds 6 recall campaigns and 4 owner complaints (model years 2005 on) against the Avenue line (a recall and a complaint are not the same thing).
Too few reports to show a pattern. 4 complaints have been filed on this line — not enough to say what fails most often. They cover equipment, parking brake, structure and suspension.
Recall coverage here is not complete, and complaints are owners’ unverified reports (how this record is built). Check a specific VIN at NHTSA before you buy. Full tables are on the Avenue line page.
