01 What makes it unique
The 340BH is the 331BH's problem solved with a bigger chassis. CrossRoads rates both at twelve berths, but where the 331BH runs a 9,735-pound GVWR the 340BH runs 11,450 — and that extra rating turns 1,540 pounds of cargo capacity into 2,198. It is about 38 feet on three slides and two entries with a 20-foot awning. CrossRoads publishes no floorplan description for this plan anywhere on its site, so no layout claim is made here — the interior arrangement below is not described because it is not published. The slide count, entry count, berth count and every dimension and weight on this page are published figures.
The cost is at the hitch. The 1,296-pound dry tongue is the heaviest on the 2026 Zinger roster, 131 pounds above the 331BH's and 52 above the 43-foot 390DB's. At that figure the 340BH is asking for a well-rated three-quarter-ton rather than a half-ton, and the payload arithmetic on the tow vehicle deserves checking before the trailer does. The tank set is 45/84/42 gallons fresh/grey/black. The 2025 published standards for the line list a Super Flex Alpha roof under a limited lifetime warranty, a heated and enclosed underbelly, front diamond plate, pass-through storage, a tankless water heater and an electric awning.
The factory roster card rates the 340BH at twelve berths and the RVUSA record rates it at six. The factory figure is used here and both are stated.

03 The Zinger floorplan family
The Zinger is CrossRoads' full-size value travel trailer. It is one of three separate rosters in the Zinger family — the lighter Zinger Lite and the single-axle Zinger Lite Mini carry their own floorplan codes and their own weights, and nothing is shared between them. All nine 2026 Zinger plans are profiled in full and linked below. The 340BH on this page is highlighted.

Zinger is a cross-shop against Forest River's Salem / Wildwood and Aurora, Prime Time's Avenger, Keystone's Springdale, Coachmen's Catalina and Palomino's Puma. The family runs three separate rosters that share no floorplan codes: this full-size Zinger, the lighter tandem-axle Zinger Lite and the single-axle Zinger Lite Mini. The 2026 factory roster carries nine travel-trailer plans and all nine are profiled here in full. Dry weight, GVWR, cargo capacity and dry tongue weight are published per plan and each plan's dry weight plus cargo capacity equals its GVWR exactly, so the weights below are shown unflagged with no derivation. Dry weight is a factory estimate; real loaded tongue weights run higher — always weigh the loaded trailer and confirm against your vehicle's tow rating and payload.
04 What owners & reviewers report
The heaviest tongue on the roster
At 1,296 pounds the dry tongue is the heaviest of the nine 2026 Zinger plans — heavier than the 43-foot 390DB's. Check it against your vehicle's payload, not just its tow rating.
The GVWR that buys the cargo back
The 11,450-pound GVWR against a 9,252-pound dry weight leaves 2,198 pounds of cargo capacity — 658 pounds more than the 331BH on the same twelve-berth rating.
Sleeps disagreement, factory used
The factory roster card rates the 340BH at twelve berths and the RVUSA record rates it at six. The factory figure is rendered and both are stated.
Layout not published
CrossRoads publishes no floorplan description for the 340BH, so no interior arrangement is described here.
Weigh the loaded trailer
Dry weight is a factory estimate and real loaded tongue weights run above the 1,296-pound base — weigh the loaded trailer and use a weight-distributing hitch.
05 How it compares
The 340LR — the same 38-foot body rated for six instead of twelve, 579 pounds lighter dry and about 2,100 dollars less.
The 331BH — the same twelve berths on a 9,735-pound GVWR, 1,057 pounds lighter dry but 658 pounds tighter on cargo.
Palomino's Puma — the metal-sided value cross-shop with a comparable bunkhouse roster.
