The 26DBH is the Alpha Wolf bunkhouse, and it is the plan Forest River documents most thoroughly. The factory floorplan record describes one slideout and two entries, with a 20-foot awning, SolidStep entries, outside storage, a rear accessory hitch, and an outside kitchen carrying both an ice maker and a refrigerator. Its interior is documented front to back: a foot-facing queen bed with an overhead cabinet and wardrobes on each side plus a door-side closet; an entertainment center with a fireplace below along the inner wall and a hidden pantry behind it; an off-door-side slideout with a jack-knife sofa and u-dinette; a door-side entry with kitchen counter, sink and cooktop, overhead cabinet with microwave, 12-volt refrigerator and pantry; a rear door-side full bathroom with a porcelain stool, medicine cabinet and second entry door; and rear off-door-side double-stacked bunks.

The second entry door into the rear bathroom is the detail that matters on a family plan. It means wet kids and muddy boots reach the bath without crossing the living space, and it means the bathroom can be reached at night without walking the length of the trailer. Forest River's own copy frames the plan as the lightweight, affordable family option.

At 32 feet 8 inches and 6,625 pounds dry with a published 7,955-pound GVWR, cargo capacity is 1,330 pounds and the dry tongue is 955. That is a real constraint for a plan built to carry four or more people: family gear, water and passengers all draw on the same 1,330 pounds. The build underneath is line-standard laminated fiberglass over block foam on a drop frame, with the Super Truss roof, lifetime PVC membrane, armored heated underbelly, tankless water heater, Juice Pack solar and 81/35/35 tanks.

Alpha Wolf is the laminated-fiberglass tier of Forest River's Cherokee travel-trailer family — a construction step above the metal-sided Grey Wolf and Wolf Den on the same drop-frame half-ton bumper-pull architecture, and a cross-shop against Forest River's own Salem / Wildwood, Jayco's Jay Flight, Keystone's Passport and Coachmen's Catalina. Eleven floorplans are published for 2026.

Water dominates the load plan on this floorplan. Filling the 81-gallon fresh tank consumes about 51% of the 1,330-pound cargo capacity, which means the 26DBH is realistically a travel-with-partial-water trailer unless you are heading somewhere with no hookups and are prepared to leave gear behind.

The published dry tongue weight of 955 pounds is 14% of the 6,625-pound dry weight, which sits inside the 10–15% band usually quoted for stable towing. It is still a dry figure: loading the front pass-through and the fresh tank both push it up.

Nothing above changes the ceiling. Loaded to its 7,955-pound GVWR the 26DBH is towing 1,330 pounds more than its 6,625-pound dry figure, and that is the number your vehicle has to be rated for — not the brochure weight.

Tank balance is worth a look before a long boondocking trip: 81 gallons of fresh against 35 grey and 35 black. Waste capacity is smaller than supply, so on this floorplan the grey tank fills before the fresh tank empties — the drain schedule, not the fill, is what ends the stay.
