The 392M is the family plan of the flagship roster and the biggest garage Grand Design puts on a Momentum fifth wheel: seventeen feet of R-40 flex space behind three slides and forty-six feet of coach. Sleeping nine is the highest capacity anywhere in the 28-plan family, and the systems are sized to match — 45,000 BTU of air conditioning against the 30,000 on the entry 344M, a 35,000-BTU furnace, an on-demand water heater and a twenty-cubic-foot refrigerator. Three MORryde Independent Suspension 2.0 axles with disc brakes sit under it, rather than the two on the shorter plans.

Against the 344M the trade is legible in the numbers: 23,500 pounds of GVWR instead of 19,000, and a 5,386-pound payload instead of 3,090 — a 74 percent larger cargo budget for about sixteen thousand dollars more and six extra feet. The dry pin only rises to 3,650 pounds from 3,500, which is the useful part: the extra capacity lands on the axles, not the hitch. The same 60-gallon dual fuel station and 140-gallon fresh tank are standard. If the 344M's payload arithmetic is the reason to hesitate, this is the plan that answers it.

Momentum is Grand Design's toy-hauler family, and it spans four rosters across both tow types. The full-size Momentum fifth wheel is the flagship — a 101-inch wide-body coach on MORryde independent suspension with disc brakes, carrying a 60-gallon dual fuel station.
