01 What makes it unique
The 394G is the G-Class plan that makes the roster's case. Grand Design publishes 22,500 pounds of GVWR against a 16,400-pound dry weight, which leaves 6,100 pounds of payload — nearly double the entry 320G's 3,300, and more than any full-size Momentum fifth wheel including the 392M. The garage runs fifteen feet, there are three awnings at 14, 12 and 8 feet, and three axles sit under it. The factory scopes this plan explicitly to heavy-duty 7,000-pound axles with ABS drum brakes, where the shorter G-Class plans get 8,000s. The rest is the G-Class build: 101-inch wide-body Super Chassis, MORryde CRE3000, Rotoflex pin box, electric auto-leveling and the R-11 laminated aluminum walls.
Two figures are worth reading as published rather than assumed. The refrigerator is fifteen cubic feet, not the flagship's twenty, and the air conditioning is rated 15,000 BTU — half the 30,000 on the smaller 320G. And at $126,344 this plan lists below the entry 320G's $127,910 despite being nine feet longer with almost twice the payload. The dry pin is 3,500 pounds, identical to the flagship 344M's, which puts this squarely in one-ton territory once the garage is loaded.

03 The Momentum floorplan family
Momentum is Grand Design's toy-hauler family, and it spans four rosters across both tow types. The full-size Momentum fifth wheel is the flagship — a 101-inch wide-body coach on MORryde independent suspension with disc brakes, carrying a 60-gallon dual fuel station. The Momentum G-Class fifth wheel sits below it on MORryde CRE3000 suspension and a Rotoflex pin box with a 30-gallon fuel station, and the G-Class travel trailer puts that same garage behind a bumper pull. The Momentum MAV is the compact end — the lightest and cheapest way into a Momentum garage, and the one roster with no fuel station at all.
