01 What makes it unique
The 21RB puts a rear bath across the back — a shower, a medicine cabinet and a porcelain toilet, by the drawing in Forest River’s December 2025 Alpha Wolf brochure — with the 12-volt refrigerator beside it. The one slide carries theater seating; opposite, the kitchen has a microwave and overhead cabinets and a bar top with chairs. Up front is a 60-by-80 queen bedroom with nightstands, wardrobes and overhead cabinets. Outside: an outside kitchen, a 15-foot awning and outside storage. One slide-out and one entry door.
Forest River’s December 2025 Alpha Wolf brochure prints a 5,578-pound UVW, a 2,087-pound CCC and a 665-pound hitch weight, 25 ft 6 in long, 11 ft 0 in high and 96 inches wide, with 81-gallon fresh, 35-gallon grey and 35-gallon black tanks; Forest River’s 2026 Alpha Wolf roster (saved 6 Aug 2026) agrees on the four figures it prints. Neither prints a GVWR, so none is shown and none is computed.
Its 665-pound tongue is the lightest of the ten plans in the brochure. Forest River’s per-plan page once described it with four slide-outs; that page was never saved, and the brochure drawing shows one. The brochure’s standard, Weather Guard and Limited package lists apply line-wide: laminated exterior walls with block-foam insulation, a drop-frame design with “SuperStor” basement storage, an 81-gallon “Niagara” fresh tank, an armored underbelly tank enclosure with forced-air heat and 12-volt heat pads, a 15,000-BTU central air conditioner, an on-demand tankless water heater, a 12-volt residential-style refrigerator, 4-corner power stabilizer jacks, a power front jack and the Juice Pack 100-watt solar package.
How the 21RB differs from the other ten Alpha Wolf floorplans. Most distinctive first. How these ranks are worked out.
- Tongue weight, 665 lb: lightest of eleven; next is the 22SW (735 lb).
- Tongue weight as a share of dry weight, 11.9%: smallest of eleven; next is the 280QBS (13.2%).
- Length, 25 ft 6 in: shortest of eleven; next is the 22SW (27 ft).
- Dry weight, 5,578 lb: second-lightest of eleven, between the 22SW (5,513 lb) and the 24TRUNK (6,403 lb).
- Cargo capacity, 2,087 lb: fifth-smallest of eleven, between the 280QBS (2,027 lb) and the 22SW (2,222 lb).
- Grey tank, 35 gal: smallest of ten, level with the 24TRUNK, 25RB and two others; next are the 26RL, 29DCB and three others (70 gal).
Next to the 22SW, the nearest lighter floorplan by dry weight, the 21RB is 65 lb heavier by dry weight, has 135 lb less cargo capacity, has a tongue weight 70 lb lighter and is 1 ft 6 in shorter; the two publish the same fresh tank.
Next to the 24TRUNK, the nearest heavier floorplan by dry weight, the 21RB is 825 lb lighter by dry weight, has 545 lb more cargo capacity, has a tongue weight 280 lb lighter and is 5 ft 3 in shorter; the two publish the same exterior height, fresh tank, grey tank, black tank and slide-out count.

03 The Alpha Wolf floorplan family
Alpha Wolf is the laminated-fiberglass tier of Forest River's Cherokee travel-trailer family — a construction step above the metal-sided Grey Wolf and Wolf Den on the same drop-frame bumper-pull architecture, and a cross-shop against Forest River's own Salem / Wildwood, Jayco's Jay Flight, Keystone's Passport and Coachmen's Catalina. Eleven floorplans are published for 2026.

Alpha Wolf is the laminated-fiberglass tier of Forest River's Cherokee travel-trailer family — a construction step above the metal-sided Grey Wolf and Wolf Den on the same drop-frame, bumper-pull architecture. Eleven floorplans are published for 2026. Ten are profiled in depth here; the 29DCB is catalogued from published specifications only. Forest River publishes no sleeping capacity, axle count, tire size or MSRP for this line in any of its three spec channels, so those rows are absent rather than estimated.
