01 What makes it unique
The Catalina Legacy Edition 313RLTS is the line’s rear-living flagship — a couples’-oriented coach built around a spacious lounge rather than bunks. Three slides open the combined living and kitchen area: standard power theater seating with recliners faces an SLS sofa and a booth dinette, and an L-shaped kitchen with a center island anchors the cooking. A front bedroom with a queen-bed slide adds a dresser and two closets, plus a utility closet prepped for a stackable washer/dryer. Nominal capacity is four — this is a layout that trades bunks for living space.
At 8,968 pounds unloaded and 36 feet, the 313RLTS is a three-quarter-ton tow, not a half-ton trailer — the triple slides and the loaded interior push it just past 11,000 pounds at the rating, with about 2,031 pounds of cargo capacity. As a top Legacy plan it carries the tier’s richest standard equipment: a standard 50-amp service, standard power theater seating, washer/dryer prep, solid-surface counters and upgraded aluminum wheels, on top of the line’s GE 10.7-cubic-foot 12V refrigerator, 60,000-BTU tankless water heater, GE 13,500-BTU heat-pump air conditioner, 35,000-BTU furnace and residential in-floor ducted heat. Two power awnings (a 10-foot and a 13-foot) shade the long sidewall, and a BAL 5.3 automatic leveling system is a popular option.
Construction is the line’s metal-sided value build scaled up — a Norco powder-coated steel I-beam frame with full-length outriggers, a Platinum .024-inch aluminum exterior with a smooth radius front, a seamless Alpha roof membrane and an enclosed, fully sealed corrugated underbelly — with a porcelain toilet, a living-room fireplace, JBL Aura audio and a 600-watt solar prep. For a couple who wants a residential-feeling rear lounge, a real kitchen island and laundry prep in a value-priced package, the 313RLTS is the rear-living top of the Catalina range.

Every Catalina is built on a Norco electromagnetic powder-coated cambered steel I-beam frame with full-length outriggers, a 5/8-inch tongue-and-groove StableDeck floor, a Platinum .024-inch aluminum (metal-sided) exterior with a smooth aluminum radius front, and a seamless Alpha roof membrane with a lifetime warranty. Standard equipment is full 12-volt residential: a GE 10.7-cubic-foot 12V refrigerator, a GE 60,000-BTU tankless water heater, a GE 13,500-BTU ducted air conditioner with a heat pump, JBL Aura audio and a 600-watt solar prep. The Legacy Edition adds solid-surface kitchen counters, upgraded aluminum wheels, washer/dryer prep, a larger awning, a full outside camp kitchen and available BAL auto-leveling. Lengths, weights and equipment change with options, sub-line and model year — always confirm against the unit's own weight sticker. 04 What owners & reviewers report
Rear-living flagship for couples
Standard power theater seating, a kitchen island and a triple-slide lounge — a residential-feeling layout that trades bunks for living space.
Loaded standard equipment
A standard 50-amp service, standard power theater seating and washer/dryer prep come included — features that are options or absent on lighter plans.
A three-quarter-ton tow, not a half-ton
At 8,968 lb UVW, nearly 1,100 lb of hitch weight and just under 11,000 lb GVWR, the 313RLTS needs a three-quarter-ton truck — confirm payload, not just tow rating.
Smaller fresh and grey tanks than the bunkhouses
The triple-slide layout trades tank room: 38-gallon fresh and 33-gallon grey are modest for a 36-foot coach — worth noting for extended dry camping.
Selling price runs well below the placard
Dealer MSRP placards run near $55,000–$60,000 while 2026 selling prices commonly land near $36,000–$38,000; the figure shown is dealer-typical selling and is flagged.
05 How it compares
A lighter, half-ton-towable Legacy plan — a quad-bunk family layout instead of a rear-living couples’ lounge.
The triple-slide bunk-room flagship — the same top-tier equipment, but a separate bunk room and master suite for big families instead of a rear lounge.
A laminated-aluminum rear-living coach one tier up in construction — cross-shop build and price.
