01 What makes it unique
The Catalina Legacy Edition 323BHDSCK is the line’s bunk-room family coach — a layout built for families of all sizes. The rear bunk room is furnished with a double-size loft bed, a single bunk that stows for more room, the versatile COA cube lounge futon, its own entertainment center and abundant storage, behind a solid privacy door; the front holds a private bedroom with a walk-around queen and mirrored wardrobes, and a dual-entry bath links the two ends. The living room runs a large U-shaped dinette and a substantial pantry, and a bunkroom jackknife sofa adds another berth. Nominal sleeping is nine — a true big-family plan.
At 8,326 pounds unloaded and 36 feet 2 inches, the 323BHDSCK is a three-quarter-ton tow with a 1,500-pound cargo capacity and a 1,074-pound hitch. It is one of the better-equipped Legacy plans out of the box: standard 50-amp service, standard washer/dryer prep, a 21-foot power awning and a standard full-size outside camp kitchen with a griddle, a dorm-style refrigerator and a sink, on top of the line’s GE 10.7-cubic-foot 12V refrigerator, 60,000-BTU tankless water heater and 13,500-BTU ducted heat-pump air conditioner. A 35,000-BTU furnace with residential in-floor ducted heat handles cold weather, a 74-gallon grey tank suits a busy family, and options run from BAL auto-leveling to a second air conditioner up to the triple-18K Furrion setup.
Construction is the same metal-sided value build as the rest of the line — a Norco powder-coated steel I-beam frame with full-length outriggers, a Platinum .024-inch aluminum exterior with a smooth radius front, a seamless Alpha roof membrane and a 5/8-inch StableDeck floor — with JBL Aura audio and a 600-watt solar prep. For a large family that wants a flexible rear bunk room, a private front bedroom and a full-size outdoor kitchen with standard 50-amp and laundry prep, the 323BHDSCK is the bunk-room family pick of the line.

Every Catalina is built on a Norco electromagnetic powder-coated cambered steel I-beam frame with full-length outriggers, a 5/8-inch tongue-and-groove StableDeck floor, a Platinum .024-inch aluminum (metal-sided) exterior with a smooth aluminum radius front, and a seamless Alpha roof membrane with a lifetime warranty. Standard equipment is full 12-volt residential: a GE 10.7-cubic-foot 12V refrigerator, a GE 60,000-BTU tankless water heater, a GE 13,500-BTU ducted air conditioner with a heat pump, JBL Aura audio and a 600-watt solar prep. The Legacy Edition adds solid-surface kitchen counters, upgraded aluminum wheels, washer/dryer prep, a larger awning, a full outside camp kitchen and available BAL auto-leveling. Lengths, weights and equipment change with options, sub-line and model year — always confirm against the unit's own weight sticker. 04 What owners & reviewers report
A flexible rear bunk room
A double loft bed, a single bunk that stows for more floor space, a COA cube lounge futon and its own entertainment center behind a privacy door — a versatile space for kids or guests.
Best-equipped out of the box
Standard 50-amp service, standard washer/dryer prep, a 74-gallon grey tank, a 21-foot awning and a full-size outside camp kitchen — more standard content than the smaller Legacy plans.
Wants a 3/4-ton tow
At 8,326 lbs unloaded and a 1,074-lb hitch this is a heavier tow; match it carefully to your truck’s door-jamb rating, not just its tow rating.
Tight payload for a big-family plan
A 1,500-lb cargo capacity is modest for a nine-sleeper — watch loaded weight with a full grey tank, gear and a second air conditioner.
Selling price runs below the placard
Dealer MSRP placards run from the high-$40,000s to mid-$60,000s while 2026 selling prices commonly land in the high-$30,000s to mid-$40,000s; the figure shown is dealer-typical selling and is flagged.
05 How it compares
The single-slide private-bunkhouse coach — lighter and half-ton-friendly with a bigger payload, with queen bunks instead of a stowable-bunk bunk room.
The triple-slide bunk-room flagship — a separate rear bunk room plus a front master suite with washer/dryer prep, longer and heavier.
A stick-and-tin large-family bunkhouse from the Cherokee value line — cross-shop build and price.
